Not all but some of the receptionist have a bad attitude. Some act as if they have had medical training. WHICH THEY HAVE NOT. Doctors I have found very caring and helpful.

I have had nothing but problems since transfer of surgery's from Barton and the attitude of the staff is if you don't like it change surgery. They are unable to use initiative and have left me suffering on many occasions now I know I am not the only patient this is affecting! I have even had a practitioner put the phone down on me when I was showing signs of infection, I had requested he check my blood results from a previous hospital trip and he insisted he had and there was nothing wrong with me. Months later I discover after feeling so poorly I was getting extremely concerned it was something serious and after being in a coma for 7 weeks this is understandable, that I did indeed have an infection, a hugely contagious infection left untreated and he clearly just ignored my request or should I say neglected to even clarify my results but hey if you don't like if find another surgery!

The receptionist was so bloody rude when I rang. I previously spoke to 111 and they then said to phone your doctors to either get an appointment or get them to give you a call back. The lady I spoke to was like what’s wrong with you we have lots doctors appointments already said it so abrutly and rude. hate and always will hate doctors because of people like her!!!!!! I really got upset after speaking to her she did transfer me to a nurse who was super friendly and helpful

I had incident with Maria which one of the nurse at Barton branch. She stabbed my RA with a needle when collected blood samples. Asked the nurse to STOP 3 times BUT she didn't stop. Elbow area bruised for 2 weeks with sever pain. Complained at the reception. They told me to write an email to the manager named MARK. She treated me as if I was a junky. This is the level of service you get from here. Make sure you have a Chaperon and ask them what are they doing as some of the staff don't care because the managers are horrible people......NHS doesnt need a manager per 1 staff. Staff can look after themselves better without £100K+ paid managers.
