Lovely Family business i would buy a car from chapel-house again without a doubt very friendly, helpful, sorted all finance options out on one visit. I had a couple of problems within the warranty period and they sorted it out with no hassle at all. I would recommend this car sales garage to anyone so organised and efficient and helpful, thanks guys!! i love my car.
It's not often I write a review... in fact never, but having seem some of the reviews from the people below who can clearly hardly spell clearly can't read either I thought I would intervene to relay to the world my experience with this FAB company. Having just passed my test, to say I was nervous buying my first car on finance was an understatement. The entire process was concluded in a matter of days, I'm now the proud owner of a lovely little 107 and will continue to use the team at Chapel house for my future requirements. I first found Chapelhouse Car Sales on the internet where they had a very good range of vehicles at very reasonable prices. I went to the dealership to make sure the reality was as good as the website and can say I was very impressed. The sales man I dealt with was extremely knowledgeable and took a personal interest in making sure I chose the right car for me. Now if it was just buying the car from the dealership I would probably not bother to leave a review. I have had the vehicle over a year now and have had it serviced and MOT'd at Chapelhouse and could not be happier with the quality of service. My partner's vehicle is now also looked after by them and I can safely say that my future cars will be too. Thank you Chapelhouse - and keep up the good work!!!!!
Bought a BMW 320 touring from them in February, was a nice car but needed a bit of TLC to get ready before sale, they do not valet or polish the cars until after the sale. I agreed a price and collected the car a few days later as they said it would be ready. On collection it had not been polished or valeted they had fitted a new tyre but not a "Run Flat" to match the one they replaced but they had a family funeral so I arranged to take it back in the next week to be sorted out. They fixed an easy mechanical issue but did not do the paint or valet and I was asked to take them to separate places to get this done myself! The valet place would not do it for free, the paintwork shop kept the car for 2 days and did a real bad spray job on a paint chip but were not authorised to mop and polish the car. Its been 8 months now and you get lots of promises via email or the phone but ultimately I'm still waiting for the Full Service History they told me it had, the paintwork and valet. I've replaced the tyre myself! So, I can't say if this happens with ever car sold by them, but in my experience I'd look somewhere else and save yourself all the hassle.
Great Bunch of lads down there sent my son to go and have a look at a few cars and they treated him with so much respect, Not often I buy all my company cars from one dealer but I can hand on heart say my custom is fully with Chapelhouse Car Sales!! Highly recommended! Keep up the good work Lads!!
Bought my car from these guys, it was well priced as I had scoured the net and I wondered if there was a reason it was so well priced. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and history of the vehicle. It was missing a parcel shelf but JJ the saleswoman said she could source me one or reduce the price by £80. I took the discount and found one on eBay for £30 so I was pleased with that.
Very poor customer relationship. No response after initial request. Then respond, not answering any question, just asking do you like test drive? Then I took appoint for 5 days later. No contact from dealer what so ever, until after I travelled 100 miles to get there, tried to phone to tell 10-15 mints late just before to get,there.Then said car was already sold, laughing like funny, far from apology. When I askd why I haven't been informed , like email then he said 'well I'll email you now'. Unbelievable!
Where do I begin yes quick and nice and enough for car sale. Did sort the 1st little problem out with repairing my car even tho for 10 days I was without a vehicle with no consideration about. Had to pay out for my glow plugs to be done even tho I’ve only drove the car for 4thousand miles. Spoke to them today from the last repair a fault had occurred and can’t book it in to Friday Wednesday being today so I’m going to be with out a car again. Fair enough don’t offer replacement car even tho says on warranty they can if they have any cars but yet last time i was told they don’t at all!! Moving on I made them aware that there after sales customers skills is dog poo basically no calls return, all I had today off the boss is his a busy man with a lot to do. Then which made me see how much of cowboy outfit this company really is my phone signal cut of talking to him upon calling him back 30 seconds after i was basically threatened and shouted at that if I ever put the phone down on him he will rip my throat out !!! Is this really the customer service I require. I now have my car in another garage where two pipes have gone on my turbo costing me £320 to sort out don’t buy a car definitely don’t buy a warranty from this place!!!!!
Car had major breakdown within 3 months of purchase. Even though a 12 month warranty was purchased on top of the standard 3 month, only half of the repair works were contributed because they did not think the charges were correct. Parking sensors advertised didn't work and when I called them up to request fixing, these were of course not covered in the warranty. Didn't sign the service log book which supposedly happened on the day of purchase. Hugely regret buying from here.
Purchased a 4X4 in July. Problems from day 1. Thick black smoke belching out of the exhaust, even though it came with a full 12 months MOT, but we didn't get a copy of the emission report. Locking wheel nut key missing too. It went back, 7 days they had it, 5 of those days were removing the wheel nuts as the 'Tool' used to drill them out kept breaking. Steering was vague & twitchy, warning beeps going off for no reason, jerking movement went slowing down. We got in touch again, said we wanted to swop it for another vehicle as we weren't at all happy with the car, this was only 6 weeks after we'd bought it. They said they'd have to work out what it was worth as the '13' plate had just come out!!! That they would ring us after the Directors had been consulted. We heard nothing. We phoned again & was promised a call back the next day, we heard nothing. We were promised excellent service, 2nd to none after sales service, quote "We will look after you". Being trusting, genuine people we took them at their word. Don't let the 'warm welcome' hand shaking & smiles draw you in, they want your ££ end of... Any problems and you're on your own. We've got rid of the 4X4 as it was a potential money pit. Traded it in so some other dealer will have to right whatever the hell is wrong with it. We're not saying every car from them is going to have problems, but if you do have problems you'll get fobbed off.
