We had a drink here twice, sitting upstairs which was lovely, but normally just for serving food. The ambience downstairs isn’t as modern. Some seating outside and some set on a balcony upstairs with great views of the harbour comings and goings. Linguine with crab and prawns was tasty but the lobster was a bit disappointing. Service was quick and very friendly. It was heaving outside on the bank holiday and Saturday so I’d book unless going midweek and outside school hols.

A character pub downstairs with plenty of good beer, two log burners and usually a good atmosphere. It is right on the harbour and had lots of outdoor seating if the weather is good. Has just been redone and the restaurant upstairs is much improved. About 10 good quality rooms with a nice breakfast. One of the better pubs in Falmouth.

Large pub but authentic and right on the harbour, lots of seating and cosy. Outdoor seating too. If you want to eat you need to go upstairs. Good selection of beers and gins (that was what we had so didn't notice the rest). Friendly and seemed like good place for a traditional pub drink.

After undergoing a lengthy refurbishment this St Austell Brewery pub has come back with a bang. With a beautiful new interior this old fashioned pub feels elegant yet still homely and in keeping with it’s original look. Beautiful balconies allow you to enjoy your evening whilst watching the sun set over the estuary and providing views of flushing and St Mawes. Brilliant food, and high class looks make this place stand out amongst other pubs in Falmouth.

Recently undergone a refurb and it looks great! Menu is good. I had the crab and lobster rarebit which was lovely my husband had the caeser salad which was very small and definitely not worth £12.
