Absolutely awful! If I could give it 0 stars I would. We booked a table for a party of 13 many weeks in advance. We paid £350 and were told to turn up before 22:00. We turned up at 21:50 to be told we were not allowed in. The juiced up bouncers were rude and aggressive and looking for any reason to start a fight. We were told because a group of lads had issues in the week we couldn't go in, how this was related to us I will never know. Revolution were fully aware in advance that it was a group of lads and at no point contacted us to tell us that their new sexist policy was now in place. We wasted money on taxis etc. I will not be returning, shocking.

My treatment today by Revolution was a disgrace. I am transgender, and was denied entry to Revolution Cardiff at 9.40pm because of this. The bouncer slowly looked me up and down, gave a snort of disgust, then told myself and a companion we were "too drunk" to enter. We had not been drinking. A trio of drunk ladies behind us, stumbling and screaming, were allowed entry no problem. Is Gender Identity Discrimination a policy for Revolution? I'll be reaching out to the manager tomorrow to ask for an apology and explanation for why i was treated like this, before going to the papers in the hopes of making other people aware of this treatment.
Do not attend Revolution if you are LGBT+ they employ bouncers who discriminate based on gender/sexuality.

Great bar. Good memories of two for one shots when I was 18. Dance floor sometimes has one person on it. No problem with queuing at the door.

The venue is really nice and the whole club on it's own, is very impressive. However the staff often treat the customer's as drunken cattle. I didn't enjoy constantly being pushed around by security and spoken too as an idiot by some of the staff primarily the security.
