Went and purchased a Galaxy Tab there just before closing on a Sunday. Spoke to at least 3 members of staff during the transaction, who also interacted with my kids too and were extremely friendly. I was quite hesitant buying the Tab, but they were very reassuring, NOT pushy/hard sell, and it helped to convince me which way to go, which was to purchase. I was not rushed, though I wouldn't recommend going so late for the sake of the shop staff as they deserve to go home my fault in running late but I can't praise the staff enough!
You take your chances with 2nd hand items however it does have a return policy. The waiting time can be long when busy mainly due to every staff stopping to sort out selling orders instead of having 1 or 2 staff just dedicated to it, so the line can stop for like 20 minutes.
Always a quick and easy transaction whether buying or selling. This place will make you realise you accumulate a small fortune of gadgets and games at home.
Cex we all know it. But there's something about the layout that's lacking. Any chance we could get an ipad with available films/games? So we can browse without browsing. I understand there's the website but some of us are old school.. just a thought
Good range of stock for a bigger CeX but queues can get quite long and it may take a long time to get served - aim for very early to avoid this.
the employees were quite rude when i asked for help, just wanted to find a cd. also it was out of my comfort zone to ask for help, receiving that kind of response will ensure my reason for not returning. May be a miscommunication on my part, but didn't feel comfortable there.
Slow aint the word ..went in to buy a game for my daughter ..wife said I will wait, I had to get Drivers license renewed, walked from CEX to Next ..where the post office is ..had my photo taken ..paid walked back to CEX..where wife just came out...lol
Sold my PS5 which was practically mint but was downgraded due to “fine dust scratches” on a small area which the clerk had to put in the light to even see. I accepted the offer regardless, however, walking out of the store I noticed in the window they had the same console for sale at the higher grade price which was in a lot worse condition than mine!! Upon further research on their grading, it seems a lot of people have unfortunately been on the receiving end of this bad practice of marking down buy-ins. Best to avoid!
The staff are polite and helpful. I managed to get everything I went in for sorted without any hassle. Will definitely return. A+++
Very helpful when I took my tablet in as having intermittant problems. Tried to find fault but couldn't. Have brought home to try again. But professional and helpful
