A lovely pub with a welcoming feel and a very accommodating team. I have so far alway found the other customers to be peaceful rather than punchy. The sun shines on the front garden in the afternoon so a table outside can be nice - Bar area with tall tables and large dining booths - Restaurant area with flexible seating serving good, regularly changing pub grub. - However, the best seats in my humble opinion are the little tables in the bay windows - great for a gin and a coffee with a good book! - Parking is on-street if you can find a space the bus stops outside and the tube is a short walk away.
Very good food. All 5 of us got something different and everyone loved what they ordered. The service was good and the prices were pretty reasonable too. I would come back if we are ever in the area again.
Shame this place was half empty on a World Cup match night - perhaps it has to do with the fact the music is so loud before and after you can’t even chat…. Even when we asked with the pub empty. Perhaps if they remembered they were not a club and acted like a pub - more people would come and spend some time enjoying a PUB ENVIRONMENT.
Dog friendly pub with great food and nice staff. The team was very considerate about our request of table in a corner because we’re bringing our dog. The food was really good and it felt homey. This is definitely a place I would revisit many times.
Came for the Sunday roast but wasn’t available along with a few other menu options. Food was basic. I’m not expecting anything fancy for the price but bread and olives was just a slice of white break cut in half.
Me and My GF went for a drink here the other week and ended up ordering some food, we both had Fish and Chips. It was the best fish we have had ina while. Defernetly recommend to others, very chill vibe good date spot. 4.4/5
Visited with my parents from Ireland twice on their weekend trip to London and both occasions had delicious food and drinks. The Fish and Chips and Beef Pie went down a treat. Lovely selection of wine on offer. A cosy atmosphere and very friendly attentive staff.
This is a solid pub with nice staff. The food is reasonable - I enjoy that the chef throws pickled veg on everything it's a great addition to the food. The price is reasonable given it's location in London and there's a good selection of beers etc. They are dog friendly too, although dogs are not allowed in all areas of the pub.
A very nice pub, a large selection of beer, a very good selection of food, a great place to watch the World Cup, unlike other pubs that have SKY SPORT, BT Sport, this place is distinguished by a cozy atmosphere, cultured customers, such a small premium pub, very friendly stuff. I was there with my friends to watch my team, I was very pleased. You can reserve tables, each of them has a good location to watch TV. We will definitely be back for the next game.
Had a great meal and drinks with friends in this cosy pub in Finchley. Chicken Schnitzel is delicious and cooked to perfection. Service to detail and was made to feel at home away from home, staff are friendly and helpful. I will return and will recommend this place to anyone that is after a great meal, good drinks, friendly staff and the atmosphere is awesome with lights dimmed, music just right and love their window lights.
