Great service, delicious food. We ordered the award winning pale ale and beef pie it's definitely a must if you drop by. Also the beer battered fish and chips was really really good, probably the best fish and chips I've tasted.

Lovely garden, does not feel like it's on a main road.. good staff and service. Open plan kitchen looks clean and organised. Seams like they cook in bulk so get there early to guarantee fresh freshly cooked roast. The Yorkshire puddings where stacked up high ready to plate when we left at around 5pm.

Enjoyable evening. Staff explained that table service for drinks orders was being used instead of queuing at the bar. Pub was reasonably busy for a Sunday night. Food was being served as normal

Spontaneous lunch in. Delicious food the fish and chips were cooked to perfection and so was the steak pie.

Dog friendly. Great food and very nice staff. Good beer. If you sign up for their app you get a free pint!

Went with a friend earlier tonight - had a great time. Quick and friendly service and a nice atmosphere.

Fantastic food, easy to book online, great outdoor heated area, really excellent friendly attentive staff.

Aye here for the first time and was really impressed with it. I kind of rate the Stag up the road as the benchmark of pub food in East Finchley but the Old White Lion pork belly was just as food.

Lovely setting, open fire, excellent service and food
