Nice place. Really friendly Irish gentleman behind the bar made us feel welcome. Pizza can be ordered from down the road and delivered to your table and they were great.

Friendly staff and great music venue. I have popped in now and then since the mid 1980s and it has never been so well managed.
Wonderful place! Easy to get to, the staff is great and so is the beer! There's also a pool table which is always a plus for me, although it's frequently occupied. They also have quiz nights and live music not on the same night although I haven't tried either. Definitely recommend!
One of the few remaining music bars in London. It's not massive so it's easy to meet people. You can also sit outside the front of the bar to enjoy a breath of traffic air if you desire. Every other Sunday night the band "Martin and friends" play virtually every style of music with multiple singers and some very good guest musicians. Other nights there are tribute acts, blues bands, Irish etc. Well worth a visit
I enjoyed the music & the atmosphere in Maddin's last night with my mate Alice O Connor.
They refused to serve tap water. "If we serve tap water we don't make money". Later the excuse was "there's something wrong with the tap". Won't be going back.
