Absolute shambles, you call at 8.30am when it opens and there is 30 people already in the queue. This doctor surgery use to be decent but since it paired with another surgery it has become an absolute joke. Impossible to get an appointment unless you go online and even then your looking at a couple of weeks. Absolutely pointless if it's something urgent. Like every service in this country it's absolutely rubbish. Pay massive taxes for useless service.
Absolutely appalling today. I sent my husband and children to the surgery as my children we I'll. For the Dr menzzie to ask why mum wasn't there!! Of course I'm a patient of a very good doctor. Also at the surgery. I get on with all staff. This doctor felt the need to make me feel guilty for the NHS ie Lister hospital work as to why I can't leave my house. I thought as a doctor she had both my girls in and wouldn't check my baby. So I will be making a complaint. Dr you of all people should not make someone that has been threw hell and back feel guilty for not being able to walk to the surgery. When the children was with my husband. If it wasn't like today I would definitely defend the surgery. Unfortunately you have knocked a star off !!! Also made my husband feel like he not doing enough. The honest truth is very poorly managed. I hope that one day you don't tip someone who already punishing themselves for not being able to do alot of things. Also my husband won't be coming to see you in weeks but he Will another doctor
One of the worst surgery i have ever had. Every time you call for appointments you have to wait more then 30min even you called at sharp 8am. Booked and appointment for flu vaccination after long wait and next day we got the text your appointment is canceled please call us to book an appointment. Seriously
Ok we get it, the NHS is overwhelmed. But today I was on hold for nearly an hour only to be cut off when I got to queue #6. When I redialled I was on position 18 again! Then placed on hold for another 1 hour and 40 minutes. Receptionists need an attitude check, acting as if they are clinicians. DO BETTER!
Money makers, cant get appointments and can't deal with current patients but still do everything to get more. Joke patients are not priority anymore. Will be making complaint on behalf of my wife.
I managed to get a non-urgent appointment within a week and Dr Menozzi was very efficient, listened and made me feel at ease. Sometimes you do have to persist on the phone but when you do get through to speak to somebody, the staff are really great and helpful.
Sadly a Good Surgery that has gone down hill since pairing with another surgery. Have been at this surgery as a family for 30 years, always recommend it, no longer will though as it has really gone down hill. My daughter was put on strong meds that she had to have blood test for and if she hadnt requested a appointment with a consultant than she would probably still be on them. When she saw the consultant he was angry that she had been taking the meds for so long as there was no need, and that if the GP had seen her rather than online they would have known that. Myself I am disabled and suffer with my mobility i am due breast screening and when the unit is in Hartham Lane its a very short walk for me, but have been told that since my GP has partnered with a surgery in Ware that is ware all my services come from now, not heard this from my GP, but was told by Luton & Beds trust. So despite being registered in Hertford Surgery have to go to Ware???? Disgusting !!!
Avoid Dr Shakib Khamkar at all costs! He is condescending, continually talks over you, and shows a real lack of interest in his patients and their health. Also, if you disagree with him, he puts the phone down on you! He’s a Partner, alongside Dr Giles Pratt, and after reading other negative reviews on here regarding Dr Pratt, it seems this GP is run by clowns, who fail to uphold the Hippocratic Oath. Also, Roy Gillman, the Practice Pharmacist, thinks he’s a GP, acting like he’s judge and jury over prescriptions. When did it become the Pharmacists job to decide whether or not to prescribe, or remove repeated prescription medications! You’re there to dispense, not make clinical decisions on my health!
Many thanks to Dr Ana who I saw earlier today. What a wonderful GP. She had obviously read my case notes prior to my appt, listened to my symptoms and provided a very clear and concise explanation allaying any concerns I had. She referred me for physio and made an appt on line for later the same week. She also referred me to The Lister Hospital for CT scan who contacted me later that day with an appt again for the same week. So professional and kind. A real credit to the practice.
waiting on the phone for nearly 2 hours greeted by a woman who didn't seem to care,very abrupt poor telephone manner and an absolutely shocking system of waiting times,who thought of itshould be fired.
