Ordered well done beef- when it came it was so rare that a good vet could have resuscitated it. Sent it back and it reappeared minutes later after what seemed to be a spell in the microwave, which left it so tough I could not cut it. Prior to this we were brought two tiny pieces of bread ( one small slice cut in half) and some butter etc:, we had to ask for extra bread in order to use the dips .Ordered treacle sponge and was Informed no treacle, but sticky toffee available. A waitress later appeared and told me there was no custard. Would I have cream. Another waitress came and asked if I would have ice cream. -whilst we considered this a waitress appeared with some pudding and ice. cream, which. I accepted.. Needless to say the whole portion of meat is now wrapped in foil for the dog.- the most expensive dinner he has had. It would have been nice if the chef/manager had been informed by staff and had come out to discuss the matter.

Great food, lovely friendly staff. Dogs were welcome in the bar too which was great as it was very cold and snowy and we were just On way back from a walk with ours.

Food very nice and not too badly priced. Posh clientele judging by the cars in the car park. Celebs on the next table too
