This was only the second time I have stayed here but I wasnt disappointed. I was given a warm welcome and made to feel very welcome. Everything was lovely and clean and I had a really restful night too.

Lovely proprietor, very friendly and considerate towards the guests. Fantastic showers and good bike storage. Rooms comfortable, tastefully decorated and there is free breakfast and tea/coffee. Highly recommended​ to other travellers (not just because it is the only hostel in Carlisle).

Another amazing hostel that offers exactly what I expect, from decent beds to a full functioning kitchen a wifi. I couldn't ask for more. Do be aware that Reception doesn't open until 3pm which did hinder our initial plans but our host was very accommodating and helpful. Easily reached from the train station and relatively close to major attractions like Carlisle Castle and Hadrian's Wall; the later will need to be reached by bus or train.

Fantastic place would highly recommend it, all the facilities where immaculate and the staff very helpful, will definitely be coming back in the future
