As you can tell from the satellite view this was built to commemorate or benefit from London 2012, technically it is an outdoor gym but is essentially a complete waste of time for anyone except kids. None of the items of equipment are in the least functional and are rather all weather outdoor versions of the machines found in commercial gyms. I really don't know why the powers that be don't do a little research into whether anyone uses or gets any benefit from installations like this. Compare it to something you would find in Eastern Europe and the difference is clear.
