We are the first trading standards approved car finance specialist in Thurrock trading 7 days a week from Lodge Lane Grays and also 24 hrs at Car-place.co.uk. We Stock mainly low mileage full service history HPI clear vehicles. All cars are guaranteed not to be accident damaged or an insurance loss. All cars come with our own parts and labour warranty which even covers the clutch, no small print no get outs. If the car goes wrong we will fix it, no quibble. We have many years experience in the motor trade and like to consider the company as finance specialists we can offer rates that will compete with the high street but also offer rate for risk credit for people with credit history problems. We are also the first company in Thurrock to offer pay as you drive finance where a payment reminder device is fitted to the vehicle, when the customer pays the monthly payment they are given a code to type into the car which will allow the car to drive until the next payment is due.

Absolutely fantastic service, as always. My wife took her car in to Vince with a small problem that nobody else seemed to have the time to look at, and 10 minutes later - all sorted. Had a major issue with head gasket failure on my Ford Kuga. After calling at least 10 garages who weren’t willing to look at it for 4-6 weeks, Vince agreed to & I was able to bring it straight in. Ended up needing a new engine which they were able to fit for me & diagnosed and fixed a few other faults too, some that if left unnoticed could have caused considerable further damage. Vince & his team go the extra mile for their customers & are honest & reasonable with their pricing. Feel like I’ve finally found a reliable garage so will be taking my car back here for future services & any work needed! Thanks for getting me back on the road & for all your help!

Hello, Had last week a big issue with one of my locking wheel bolts that was absolutely, crazy, stupidly tight and a couple of other places were not able and refused to try and do undo it. But Vince went the EXTRA MILES and managed to take it out without doing no damaging to the alloy. Honestly Vince and his company deserve a 10 stars if I could give him that!!! Wish everyone would be like Car Place and people would leave as happy as I was!!! Will be coming back Vince!!!!!!! Legend!!!!!!
No one could seal my tires properly resulting in constant air leaks and me having to pump them up. Contacted Vince and problem was sorted right away. Recommended 100%
Got stuck at side of the road on a day trip, with a puncture and faulty locking wheel nut. Got recovered to Vince and his team, all done and fixed in short notice. Able to carry on my journey and have the day out with my kids. Great service. P.S. if you have a hot-tub or want a hot-tub, worth giving Vince a call as he stocks consumable supplies and has a wealth of knowledge on them Conversations whilst fix was being sorted
Good fellas. Quick efficient service. Straight forward. Costs reasonable. Will remove your seized wheel bolts. Recommend their car services and others they have.
If I could give Vince and The Car Place more than 5 stars, I would! Having found my front tyre flat, I went to a local tyre fitter with branches nationwide, who informed me that the locking wheel nut was damaged and they couldn't get the tyre off. When I asked for advice, they suggested 'go on Amazon', or 'just pump it up every day'. I found other outlets equally unhelpful, with another large, nationwide car part supplier telling me that they couldn't supply a new set of locking wheel nuts, as my car was not in existence!! A garage in Scotland finally supplied a new set of locking wheel nuts, and a replacement key for the damaged nut. I then went to another large national tyre fitter, who said they couldn't get the wheel off. They told me to go to the Car Place, and then return to them and they would fit a new set of tyres. So, after about three weeks of worry and stress, and at the end of my tether, I went to see Vince, who replied 'we can sort that out'. The front tyre was removed, and the problem was diagnosed as a leaking valve, which was repaired. The issue was resolved in about an hour at a small fraction of the cost of a new set of tyres! Next time I have a problem, I am going to the Car Place first.
Visited this showroom after searching on line for a car. Was shown round the various vehicles available by a lovely gentleman and then after selecting a car was passed to Vince to discuss the purchase. At no time was any hard sell pressure applied and the whole experience was painless and involved a lot of humour and banter. From initial visit to driving the car off their forecourt was less than 72 hours. Vince even completed the DVLA V5 and sorted out the vehicle tax before Ieft the Showroom. .I would recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a car.
from my initial walk around the car lot I was not pressured into buying a car. all of my questions were answered fully. the finance was sorted out quickly and was tailored to my budget. the after care service has been outstanding. I have already recommended Vince and the team to family and friends. when it is time for me to replace my other car, car place will be my first port of call. thank you Vince and the team for a first class service
