Bought a car numerous months ago, was told new battery would be fitted before collecting it and engine management light would be rectified ASAP. Broke down twice with my family in the car only to find out the battery had not be replaced and I was lied to, cheap part used 8 weeks after sale to rectify engine manamgent light that failed a month after repair. Bad service and never calls you back, please avoid.
absolutely awful dealership. I purchased a car from them in January and they informed me of an issue which they told me they would get resolved. they never got it resolved just made sure it had passed and mot. I've only managed 6 weeks of driving it and I now have gone without it for 2 months due to the shock absorbers needing replacing aswell as other faults causing the original problem they said they would have fixed . when I called them about it they were very rude and said well it passed the mot. and now the garage have quoted me 800 to have my turbo sent off as it's covered in suit and causing other system failures like me breaking down!! I have 3 children and don't feel safe putting any of them in this car . avoid this place at all costs
I bought my Peugeot 3008 from Dave and Steve some weeks ago and I have to say what a great pair of fellas. Open, honest and extremely helpful. No hidden extras like I had from a previous dealer. Car drives like a dream. Both Dave and Steve were very professional and very polite, could do with some new mugs tho. Great doing business with them and have recommended other family members and friends.
I didn't end up buying the car as the wife thought it was too big for her to drive. I would have dropped half a star for them not telephoning about the availability of the car as we visited but it wasn't ready. Moral if the story is don't assume. Always check yourself before traveling. Otherwise they are friendly and prices are reasonable.
Awful service. Steve has ignored my calls on numerous occasions. Have taken a drive back up there to be informed he forgot about spare key and will chase up. Been problem after problem with the car. They assured me that they are AA approved which means car must have minimum mot but due to lockdown they couldn't get it booked in and had some time left so will get it done before it was due. Was unable to get arranged, was told yes will call you back in 10 minutes once I get booked in.
I purchased a car here back in feb and Iv had nothing but problems, the parts they said they would replace they didn’t, then my transmission went leaving me without a car For 9 weeks in total when I need it for work during the pandemic! They didn’t care that I am a key worker and I needed a reliable car to get to and from work but were more than happy to take my 5 grand selling me a complete lemon which isn’t helpful when I got children and need the car for work. Avoid this place at all costs as not only did they leave me with a dangerous vehicle they have left me thousands out of pocket with a car that’s only good for the scrap yard. Disgusting service, disgusting salesman! Avoid if you value your family’s safety.
I'm a disabled lady with an elderly mother. I purchased a Hyundai IX35 2 weeks ago from Steve and Dave. I took the car to my mechanic the following day to discover it has an oil leak. I spoke to Dave And Steve who were extremely rude and have hung up the phone on me several times. The car is not fit for purpose. Hyundai looked at it this morning. The advised to quote Consumer Rights Act 2015 YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO REJECT SOMETHING FAULTY AND THE RIGHT TO A FULL REFUND WITHIN 30 DAYS OF PURCHASE. This is the law I don't want anyone else to suffer the stress inconvenience and worry I have had and recommend no one purchase anything from this garage. Will keep you all posted on the outcome
I am partially disabled, rapidly approaching 60 and for my sins a lone woman. Went in to this garage just to look round and ended up buying a Chevrolet Captiva, have only been driving it for two weeks but can honestly say what a corker, so easy to drive, although I am still trying hard to learn what all the gadgets are for. There was absolutely no hard sell whatsoever, Steve made everything so easy for me from beginning to end, doubt if I would use them again myself because I believe I have found the perfect car for me, and will not be parting from it but would strongly recommend them for anyone else especially if you are like me a woman. I was also recommended by a friend to use this garage as they have also previously bought their their vehicles from here. Thank you Five Bells.
I have now bought 3 cars from Five Bells, the latest a Renault Megane Coupe. Each car has been perfect & I’ve always had nothing but positive buying experiences. Highly recommend this dealership!
Brought my Renault Clio here in Feb 2018. There was an issue with one of the alloy wheels which they sorted out within a reasonable length of time. Would be happy to use again in the future.
