Convenient parking for city centre with plenty of spaces. The new ticketless system works well as long as you know what you're doing and can remember your number plate! as there are no signs to explain the system. Quite expensive but convenient and feels safe. The downside is that you have to pay to use the toilets which I wouldn't mind as they are kept very clean, but the machine only accepts 10 or 20 pence pieces, doesn't give change and doesn't allow card payments so unless you have the exact change needed then you're scuppered, especially as the next public toilets are all the way at the other end of town at the far end of the Queensgate centre! Also, the staff are extremely unhelpful/rude. Not a deal breaker for the car park but it needs to be better considering the price of parking.
Love the new system here. Just park and then on return you put your registration plate number in machine and pay. Always find this the easiest Car Park to get into as well. Shame it's not free after 6 o clock though, it's not free until after 8 o clock.
Easy to find and a payment system offering a variety of ways to pay machine, qr code or contactless on exit. Very convenient for local amenities.
This is the city's most practical parking lot, in my opinion. If you dislike parking in a multi-story car parks or walk a great distance. The drawback is that the cost is high. Situated directly behind the stores and there is restroom facilities. To use the restrooms, you must pay.
Easy entry and exit, secure, good location near city centre. Little bit pricey, although is short stay.
