Story

Canaletto is an authentic family-run Italian Restaurant located in the hamlet of Kingswood, Buckinghamshire (half way between Aylesbury and Bicester on the A41).

Established in 2013 following an extensive refurbishment, we loving restored the building to create a cosy, warm and inviting pub and restaurant.

With over 40 years' experience owning and running restaurants across two generations, we felt that there was an opportunity in Kingswood to create an independent Italian restaurant which would become a local favourite and a destination restaurant.

We embarked on our journey with some core principles:

Sustainably sourcing the finest fresh ingredients possible
Providing exceptional service and hospitality with a personal touch
Ensuring a warm and welcoming environment for all our guests
Creating a heart for the community and supporting local causes
Fairly priced ales, kept in tip top condition all year round
An extensive selection of great wines for all tastes and budgets

We stay true to these core principles every day and remain focused on ensuring we look after our guests as if they were part of our family.
