This shop took me by surprise as they have enormous amount of the stuff in stock plus their prices easily beat eBay. Go there, see what they have, buy some and be happy.

Camera World are a fabulous shop and website. I have made a number of purchases from the.  Received great advise and information both in person and online.  Most recently I purchased a new lens from the Stevenage shop. I was allowed to take my own camera in to test it and was given great information and tips to get the best from the lens.  I will be back without a doubt.

Stocked a Canon mirrorless camera that was out off stock almost everywhere else in the UK. Really happy that they reserved it for us as well.  Great customer service.

Absolutely awesome emporium. From the dustfree metal floor to the unassailable expertise of the lads who work there. BRILLIANT selection of kit, including actual high quality replacement unbranded batteries  £40 vs £68 for my Canon 7D that are guaranteed for five years! My dodgy internet ones died after a year. They will not upsell you stuff you don't need. I had booked a one hour sensor clean but it wasn't necessary so it didn't get done. Some places would do that. I drive from Watford to come here. Parking is free for two hours but scarce, so be prepared to orbit or park in town.  I have always managed to get nearby that said. Highly recommended.

I visited the Stevenage branch today as I wanted some advice about the best compact camera to buy. I was greeted by Katie who was extremely knowledgeable about the products, asked my budget and what was important to me in the camera that I want. She then took the time to talk me through the camera which she thought was best. We also discussed other options and the pros and cons. Not wanting to make a decision there and then, I left to consider. I could have bought the camera cheaper else where. However, I returned 30 minutes later to purchase TZ100 along with accessories.  The service, time, patience with all my questions, knowledge that both Katie and her colleague Matt have was exceptional. I decided to buy from camera world because of this. Because of their knowledge, their excellent customer service, and no pressure to purchase there and then.  Thank you!  Hayley
