I had a lovely brunch here at the weekend for a get together for a close friend. The team were so friendly and accommodating. I took in a few simple decorations & cupcakes and they made it look just perfect. The food was great & service too. Lovely chilled atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back again soon! Thank you for a fabulous Sunday brunch.
One of the best meals we had in England. Each course was better than the next. Reasonably priced. Nice atmosphere for a dinner for two. We would come back here again for sure and recommend it to friends. Filet noir was one of the best steak entrees I have ever had.
Went to this restaurant for my Christmas party. It was a great service. They were very well organised and we didn’t feel like we were rushed. I have taken photos of the main dishes. The steak was tasty. Maybe as it is a French restaurant it might be more rare than what I consider medium rare but that is being harsh. It catered well for a large group of us 15 in total they were quick to deliver. I would recommend it again to family and friends
Great to have lunch at this marvelous French restaurant. I love my confit de canard. Thats really French exactly as what I used to had in Paris. Crispy skin and tender inside. Orange flavor source makes it not greasy even if you had the whole piece. Two slices of cooked sweet potato taste well. The only thing I am not satisfied is the dessert Tarte de citron. It is definitely not what I expected to have in a French restaurant. However, it is great that our waitress Anna is really nice and friendly. Regardless of the dessert, I still love this place.
Great ambiance, staff was lovely and very accommodating. The food was outstanding!!!
What a delight to enter a restaurant and receive a greeting from 2 or 3 people rather than see waiting staff scurrying past you and being ignored. As soon as we entered the lady preparing drinks at the bar said hello. The manager whose name I didn't get kindly seated us although we hadn't booked and the place was really busy at 6pm last Friday evening but we were looking for a fairly speedy meal before the theatre. The menu had a really interesting range of dishes. We had starters prawn gratinee and calamari followed by sirloin steak and monkfish. Everything was delicious. If I had one criticism I think they could put a few more chips in the pot! All the waiting staff were friendly but our waitress Desi was exceptional lovely lady who is shortly having another baby. We enjoyed the atmosphere and whole experience so much we went back for brunch the next day and couldn't fault it. A big thank you.
This is the best meal that I've had in a long time. From the very simple booking, direct from a Google search to paying for the bill, the experience was fantastic. The food was excellent and the service was impeccable. Four of us ate here on 23rd Aug 21. All of us commented on how good all courses of our meals were. All this came at a very reasonable price. I have had a lot worse experiences in a lot more expensive restaurants. Can't wait to try a Cote somewhere to see if this experience is reflected.
We had a good experience in this restaurant and I’d like to personally thank the owner ? for giving me the opportunity to taste the « fondant au chocolat » with an ice cream without any dairy product ! Thanks !
Very friendly staff, good food. Nice restaurant, to eat inside or out.
What a nice place. Great atmosphere, very good bistro food, very nice wine selection.
