One of the best venues to have a drink and food with friends or a quiet time working away in the corner. Incredible views of the Market Square. A mixture of both traditional and modern - coupled with excellent staff and wide range of food and drinks makes The Ox Row Inn a great choice every time all the time

Spacious Pub in the heart of town Lovely appointed and enlarged town center pub looking over the central square to the rear. Friendly staff and good real ale with lots of relatively private areas. Music slightly loud, which interfered with conversation, but this this is a personal judgement. A very enjoyable watering hole.

As an avid aficionado of Fuller's pubs...it pains me to write this review. Today I dropped in here for a quiet pint of their superb HSB ale. But had to endure the sounds of some screaming, screeching little rug rat...whose dulcet tones would have stripped paint from wood. The oh so 'modern' daddy, just dumped the offending article over his shoulder and accepted the cacophony from his little precious as part of his...'look at my parenting skills' attitude. My afternoon was ruined by his selfishness, but he wouldn't have been bothered even had he known. I go to the pub for relaxation and solitude...had I wanted this onslaught of the eardrums...I'd have booked a table in a creche.

Decent selection of Fullers ales, didn't eat here so can't comment on the food, good service
