Had a great lunch. Fish & chips and Shepherd’s pie. Fast service, clean and lovely place.Food: 5/5
incredibly tasty and comforting food. both the atmosphere and staff were very inviting. i would definitely recommend trying this place out, especially for such a reasonable price - will be coming back soon!Food: 5/5
Strange place, looks and feels the part but severely lacking in most areas. Forgot milk for tea, brought wrong food for one of us who is ceoliac, says offers gluten free food outside, yes they do but severely limited no chips, no beans, not ideal for a little one. Service lacking no one actually asked if everything OK or anything like that, shame as have passed countless times and always said should try it, never again.
First impression was good - tidy place, comfortably furnished, good reception from the guy "in charge". I enjoyed the all day breakfast, served exactly as i'd requested ... weakest point .. the sausage. My chum was not impressed - he had the ham and cheese toastie - flavourless with tired old chips. My coffee was smooth and flavourful but my chum was less than impressed by his tea being served in a coffee cup. I'd go back but he wouldn't. The waitress was bright and efficient all in all happy to have left a tip. As an aside, I'm glad to see that this is an offshoot of the carwardines that I frequented when I came to Bristol in 1989 - so sorry that the business closed
People who left the negative comments are just idiots with no friends. The staff are friendly and gave a warm welcome. Yes you have to place an order at the till but it’s worth it. The fish and chips are divine. Great experienceFood: 5/5
Husband and I had a sumptuous lunch at this welcoming family run cafe. We loved the ham and cheese toastie with salad and chips. Absolutely hit the spot! Staff is friendly and helpful. Love this nice spot.Food: 5/5
It's a nice place to eat, the waiter was friendly and the food came out in good time. The full English was good, standard and well priced. A quick and easy option if you've been shopping all day. I went in at 1430 time and was still able to have a fry up. A simple menu and affordable prices. Coffee was OK. Recommended.
A decent restaurant with very nice atmosphere. Although you have to order at the counter, they have really fantastic service with friendly staffs. They serve traditional British food like fish & chips, shepherd’s pie, British steaks, etc. It’s open 7 days a week. I had the steak & sautéed onion baguette with chips. The price was reasonable and the food was okay.
Super all day breakfasts for grandchildren and the vegetarian version for me. Be warned that one waffle will serve two as they are huge!Food: 5/5
The waitress was polite but the food was disgusting - rotten salad and a toasted sandwich that was uncooked and tasted like plastic - inedible! Also the tap water smelt foul and couldn't be trusted. Surprisingly bad standard for an eating place in Salisbury. Vegetarian options: Poor
