This restaurant is a fantastic spot to take a break and enjoy a coffee. Its location offers a breathtaking view of the Tower Bridge and the Thames, making it an ideal place to relax and take in the scenery. While we didn't have the chance to try the full menu, the dessert we ordered was absolutely superb, delighting our taste buds. The coffee was excellent, brewed to perfection, and paired wonderfully with the dessert. The service was top-notch; the staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring we had a pleasant experience. The restaurant itself is very clean, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Overall, this restaurant provided an excellent experience. With its beautiful views, delicious desserts, great coffee, and exceptional service, it's a perfect place for a coffee break. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
Excellent food and view! We sat on their patio where we had a beautiful view of London bridge on the river Thames. We were lucky and saw the drawbridge open several times while we ate. It was a great walk along the river to get there as wellFood: 5/5
We had excellent sirloin steaks done just as we like them. Medium rare for me pictured and well done for my wife. Each item on the plate is paid for separately so the price wasn't the cheapest but the quality was excellent and the ambience of the restaurant overlooking the river and Tower Bridge is great. Sitting outside on sunnier days is a good option. We didn't do that this time as the weather was changeable but have done so before and enjoyed it very much. The staff here are very attentive; nothing is too much trouble and even though the restaurant was busy, service was courteous and did not feel rushed. We've been here on several occasions and haven't yet had dessert... Not because it isn't appealing but because we're always full after the main course! Maybe next time. Overall a lovely experience but not an everyday one for me as the price means that I have to save up
Was very excited to visit this restaurant today. Attended with family, spent over £600 - which is fine IF food was good. Cheese board - absolutely joke, literally 3 different slice of cheese, 4 crackers, 4 grapes and some kind of chutney sauce. Said it was good for sharing for 4 people... Honestly did they think we came to ration? Starter oysters, scallops okay - not bad, but nothing to boast about. Main was the real big disappointment... This is a chop house - so steak etc is their main selling point so you expect them to get this bit down like perfect or at least close to it - requested medium rare, got rare - as Gordan says "it's *censore" moo'ing! Sent this back, looked honestly like crap when it came back out. Beef not seasoned, the sauce was SO bland, butter garlic sauce - where was the taste of garlic? why was the sauce SO thick? literally it looked and taste like they bought unsalted butter mixed it in some green herb. I was buttering my steak. Mind you, spending over £120 on just steak! At least put some seasoning! Waiting time between meals were bad, 30-45mins wait. Literally starving by the time each meal came. Portion size - small, after spending over £600, most of us were still hungry... We were there for 3hrs. Each time we had to call the waiter to come over so we can be "served". Not once did they come to ask if we needed to order drinks or food etc. Starters were okay, sides were actually decent - peas, mash, chips, caeser salad, we enjoyed dessert sticky pudding and really liked the view of tower bridge. You bet we will never be returning there again. We did not complain - as discount isn't what we care for and don't expect a free meal. However, paying full price and getting this kind of standard, definitely deserve a not so great review. Don't trust instagram, looks are definitely deceiving.
Restaurant located in front of the bridge, stunning view, especially at night. Food was average, prices in line for the location. Staff was kind but it took ages to get the foodFood: 3/5
Unparalleled dining experience! Unique views of the Tower Bridge, whilst enjoying exquisite plates, made to perfection! Many thanks to our super-friendly and smiling waiter, who enhanced our experience! This is a quiet spot, with few passers-by, literally on the Thames! We will definitely visit again!Food: 5/5
Ihor was a lovely tentative server. Rhe salmon and sauge roll starters were nice. The steak was OK, I'm not the biggest fan of the charcoal taste on steak but some may like it. It amused me that they served the steak on such a large plate. The eton mess was very nice as was the complimentary anniversary dessert.Food: 4/5
The food is good. the sittingbarea is not prepared for large group. the service is slow but tge recoverd at the end by asking the whole staff including receptionist to serve us. It is good yo do but this shows that it is understaffed. The steak was very good, the mushroum wad over cooked, the triple cooked potato wad nice. They have beer 0% Alcohol which is nice. Tge staff are friendly and do everthing to help. The view is very good.
Was a great dinner in an amazing location , we chose the shared menu off the suggestion of our server, but the portion size was rather small for two people. Still the food was amazing and so was the wineFood: 4/5
Fantastic food. Had a lovely steak cooked perfectly for me. Staff really friendly. Hard to say about the atmosphere because there were not many people there at our arrival but it's the second time I've been and I'll go back. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.Food: 5/5
