Wow, wow, wow. Absolutely brilliant evening here. I totally recommend that you give this a visit if you are in London. We spent the evening here and we had an absolutely fantastic time. Great food and unlimited red wine and ale. We had such a blast that we want to take friends and family next time. You are taken downstairs to what looks like old wine cellars, seated at long tables with other's and there are lots of performers to keep you entertaining throughout the evening. You can hire costumes to really get into the spirit of things. Such a wonderful experience and a great night out without breaking the bank. We will definitely return on our next visit to London. The staff were all very friendly and really in character with the whole medieval thing. Well done medieval banquet. We want more...
If your looking for a night full of laughs, great entertainment and a variety of food - this is the place to go! I had such a great time from beginning to end. With a 4 course meal and entertainment the whole way through! There was the choice to dress up as well - if your brave enough! The actors were amazing and they're voices were incredible! Defintly one for the whole family! Finishes the night with a family disco - also drinks are very reasonably priced! And you definitely get what you pay for with the endless re-fills or beer, wine and soft drinks for the children!
A rollicking fun Christmas program. We went for an afternoon lunch the week before Christmas. We enjoyed the caroling and acrobatic acts. It did get very loud. I brought my three children and they had fun too. The establishment kindly stepped in with pitchers of apple juice instead of the bottles of wine since we don't drink alcohol. We really enjoyed it.
Good service, decent food and superb entertainment. Fun to come in groups or with family especially kids, but we went as a couple and had a great time as well. If you come in a pair, they make you sit in a group which is great as everybody gets into a happy-friendly-zone here with the live music. You can rent a costume for £10 or buy a prop like a crown or jester hat, medieval goblet for £5. We loved the music, entertainment, and timings of food service planned very well. Absolutely fantastic show with live singing, contorting, balancing acts, fight acts, dressed up as king, queen, jesters and whatnot from the medieval. Decent 4-course British meal including soup, salad, main and dessert. I would suggest them to provide with a spoon. They tell you to drink it directly through bowl as there were no spoons. This is silly as at the same time they also provide you with the fork and knife to eat roast chicken. Just provide a spoon, will you? They could also work on welcoming the guest better. May be queue up! As they open the door, mass of people waiting to get in rush up to the door, very primitive way. May be it on purpose, but it is a bad idea when on the day when it is raining or temp is zero degree, and everybody would rush to get in.
This a place with super good ambience. Artists doing and dance and perform fight and dance with you, it is a great fun spot. Food ... Haha .. don't expect the money you paid will be for food. Not saying it is bad food but just don't expect too.muxh. Soup, bread, salad, chicken, dessert, draft beer, wine, juice for kids. Just average food but not bad taste. Enjoy the vibe is the ultimate and they did a good job providing that. The team was awesome
Great Place 4 course meal if any dietary requirements they take care of you and also a Medieval theme show with king Henry, knights and jesters The best part is wine and ale are refillable with your meal a round 2 hour long of drink as much as you can. And then disco after the show finish Amazing place definitely recommend
Love this Medieval Banquet not for the food but for the concept. The performance showcased during our dinner was kinda fun. The dancing, singing, acrobatic show weren't bad at all. Their enggagement and interaction with audience were creating fun ambience. A very entertaining 2 hours dining. Dinner and the performance started at 6. so, we'd better come earlier. 15 minutes prior the latest. 30 minutes prior to dinner time is better. We can rent a medieval style costume during dinner. And as for the food, soup came first and we ate it without spoon. It's a green soup. You can dip bread onto it. Then, came salad to share. It has cheese, chicken, pork, beef, and vegetable on it. Chicken is the main course. Tastewise was kinda bland. The dessert was my favorite.
We went there for a staff Christmas party. For about £45 a head you got a great show throughout the evening including singing, dancing, sword fighting. Thus, they need to cut the cost somewhere which in this case is the food and drink. We all agreed that the wine red and white would have been better suited as salad dressings. Some people liked the soup and the salmon was standard. The chicken, however, was disgusted by some and totally fine for others I personally didn't trust the gravy though. Veggies and potatoes were my personal highlight! Nevertheless, the vegetarians amongst us went hungry as they collectively rejected the meatless main course some sort of carrot puree with gnocchi. My biggest disappointment was the dessert as I have a big sweet tooth. Unfortunately neither the mince pies nor the cake were worth the calories. We still had a fun evening and the fact that we could still buy nice drinks from the bar was a true life saver for some : also loved the fact that we could dress up!
Feeling of something different? This is defenetly the place to go, with a interactive banquet in a medieval style, this place is gonna bring you back in the days. A perfect venue to enjoy with family or friends, with unlimited wine and beer on the table, and food coming between the performances. The staff is excellent and incredibly talented, with singing , acting and juggling they ll never make you bored. The menu is setted, but you can ask for vegetarian or vegan option. Defenetly a place to go and enjoy.
The place has a great medieval feel to it and all the performers were good ... with the apt architecture , interiors and furniture and the costumes you really get a good feel ... the only con was food was not great .. since this was a party with lot of people Many times the buffet had no food , the replenishing frequency was not quick either ... overall great from aesthetics and theatrical experience point of view but very poor on food taste and management
