I’ve changed dentists at least 5 times over the last 10 years due to moving areas and I went for my first check up with Nicholas Potter who honestly has been the best dentist I’ve seen.  He’s pointed out some minor issues with my teeth which aren’t urgent but he took the time to explain the potential issues in the future, which make perfect sense.  I can’t believe no one pointed them out to before as they are blantantly obvious receding gum on one of my canines which is not far from the root! and the back my incisors front teeth are concave so he recommended filling them in to prevent build up.  I’ve always been wary of dentists recommending work thinking they are in it for the money but he put no pressure on at all, and because he took the time to explain clearly I’m not concerned for the time being but will definitely be coming back to have the work done at some point.

I was booked in for a checkup which was cancelled for some reason and a letter was sent via post informing me, to ring up and rearrange another appointment. After ringing several times gave up. A while later i was having issues with my gums rang up to book an emergency appointment was given one the following week. Over the phone was told it was just a emergency appointment  which would be free of charge and i would still have to book in for my normal checkup. I usually book in with Dr Julien, him and his assistant are really great. I went in for my emergency appointment the dentist  Ayesha? on the day spent a total of less than 5 minutes and i was in and out, it was like she did not want to be there and talk either. When it came to booking in for a checkup i had to request Dr Julian because there was a huge difference in mannerism. A £25 charge was sprung on me, ridiculous. I don’t  mind paying but receptionists, don’t mention on the phone it will be free if its not!!! Only reason im going back is for Dr Julien.

Absolutely disgusting, the second time they have now changed appointment time and date without telling us. My children turn up for an appointment to be told it has been changed to the next Monday, no notification whatsoever, the person on the desk doesn't even admit it had been changed just to skirt around the subject whilst making you feel like it is your fault...unfortunately we can trace the last text message sent was to advise it was at the time we attended. Not so much as an apology....  This following two last fillings being botched, one clearly not done properly as it resulted in tooth sensitivity for a year before it was clear the cavity had not been taken out and came through the side of the tooth. When this was then taken for filling, this filling lasted 3 months before falling out.

Had several appointments with munir mitha, told him many times to refer me Oral surgery so i can get my wisdom tooth removed, he said he cannot refer me?? i then ring the hospital tell them my situation and they asking me why hasn’t my so called GP referred me?? i dont think Munir mitha is experienced enough or knows whats he talking about.. he literally lied when he can refer me.

If every dentist was like Dr Potter then nobody would be worried about their oral procedures

Ikram is a quiet, considered and diligent gum specialist. He doesn’t beat around the bush if you’ve got a problem which I like and he really takes time to 1 educate you on the issue, 2 tell you how he’s going to treat it and most importantly 3 what you need to do to resolve the issue. He prints out your “homework” and I feel gets you on track. Hands down the best dentist I’ve had. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend :-

It is with regret I leave this feedback. I have always received the best care here with my dentist Julian. Today I saw the hygienist for a scale and polish. My treatment today was torture I've never felt so much pain, it felt like every nerve was struck, my eyes were watering my feet were jolting with every poke, I explained numerous times it was hurting and eventually my whole body was shaking. The hygienist  and her assistant were not sympathetic at all just seemed inconvenienced by my uncontrollable shaking. The hygienist said we can leave it...I explained I wasn't soft but it was really hurting, I know I have a small jaw and the nerves are quite low, this they should know, I agreed to have a local anaesthetic I have needle phobia but this seemed minor to the excruciating pain I was enduring and still am over 10 hours later, sadly I will never have this treatment again.

I’ve been going there for several years. I needed an emergency extraction without an appointment. Mr Patel excellent dentist had my wisdom tooth out in a couple of minutes this morning in between his other appointments. I’m now pain free. I’ve only ever had the best of care there.

I was referred to Mr Patel for gum disease problems that I had been trying to manage for years.  I found that he was extremely detailed with his review and open and honest with me about the treatment options and potential outcomes. Whilst the whole process wasn't 'pleasant', Mr Patel did everything he could to ensure I was comfortable and knew what was happening and what the next steps of the process were. I feel that I am now in a much better place and have a better outcome than I could have hoped for - its obviously now down to me to continue to manage this ongoing process!

Great dentist. Recommend joing them if you need this service.
