Lovely Nature reserve. Something different to see each time you visit and a great cafe run by friendly volunteer's. The place is kept well and looking good all by Volunteer's Lots of Nature to see.
Lovely walk round and a cafe is open but check opening times . Run by a charity so don't expect posh coffee its out of a jar .. seating outside with plenty of people walking they're dogs . Worth finding dates for canal event wkend
Some good paths for walking and some a little muddy but generally a very well kept nature reserve with some wonderful spots for views across the black country. Places to perch and sit, a great range of grassy, hilly and gravel terrains.
Beautiful place, well worth a visit
We moored here for a few days in our narrowboat. It's a little oasis amongst the urban sprawl. Kept spotless by friendly volunteers who also run a very reasonably priced cafe. Lovely walks with the dog, lots of wildlife and history too. And lots of friendly locals to chat to. Also a handy waterpoint for boaters.
