Decent park that Dudley Council keep relatively litter free. Football pitch used Sunday, Basketball, Tennis and BB pickup hoop. Gentle slope across park and play equipment recently refreshed with Zip line and a multi-person rope swing thingy Free parking around the edge, seem quiet in the mornings.
Big Park relatively flat, nice open area roads around the park are quiet and not to busy, plenty of places to park. It's a great park to take you bike or play football. It has a basket ball court and a tennis court. There are plenty of bins located Round the park. There has been some new additions to the play park. The play park is gated in and has an excersise area close by with a zip line and a few extra additions outside the gated play park. There is mostly dog walkers and children on this park never really any trouble makers around. There is a shop within walking distance. There are no toilets. The park is kept maintained very well. There is little to none litter. There is a fair that comes around once a year and has a dedicated neighbourhood watch team. Football on Sundays.
Nice open space park, usually very well maintained and clean. Basketball and tennis courts avaliable, plus some outdoor gym equipment and kids swing and slides area.nnDowngraded my initial review to an increase in litter over recent months
Buffery Park is an historic little park which continues to serve the community even as it changes its identity. It used to have a wonderful glass house/conservatory just near the entrance on Blackacre Road. This is a good walking place it has tennis court some Exercise machines and a small ground. Play area for kids is in good condition. It's a great place to walk dogs. Love nature its really green and is easy to access. It has less litter than most places and more bins than most places. Nice open fields and park for kids to play, relaxing area with open and wooded areas.
Buffery Park is one of the oldest parks in the Borough built on the old mines it was built in 1897 by the Grazebrook family . It still has many of its original features like the layout and in it day was the main planting park for the whole of the Borough has well has a fantastic pavilion . The park has real community feel about it and plenty of locals walk their dogs daily and the local Army cadets train there once a week, the Friends group are doing a fantastic job redeveloping park , yes there are one or two issues but there on all parks , its also one of only 6 parks in the Borough with Green flag status.
