have used 3 times now,2 for a car,once for a van.on each occasion staff were helpfull,informative,and on one occasion was given free upgrade as cheaper car i booked was not available.i had previously used hertz rental but found for the cheaper cost of budget car and van rental service was the same

Will not use this company again 
I booked on line and was told one price.
but picked up the car and they wanted more on the day.
I was held to credit card point.
Left feeling ripped.

Had a bad experience with budget cars.
Didn't got the Car on time even after I have pre-booked it. Had to upgrade because the car was not available.
When I returned the car(on time) I was charged for extra 9 days. Though the customer service has refunded the charge but was a hassle to do so.
No sign off provided by Budget car when I went to return the car.

I hired a van on the 27th of April. I paid online and went into the Swindon branch to collect the van.
I was given the keys and signed for the van and went on my way. I then returned the van on the agreed date clean and with a full tank of fuel. The keys were taken off me and no checks carried out .... I asked if that was all and they said yes so I left.
Today I checked my bank account to find that they had taken an additional £19.36 .... a week later?? I called customer services and they confirmed that the branch increased the hire charge without telling me and that they should not have done so.
Although customer services have apologised and have refunded me I am still not happy and WILL NEVER use Budget again!!!
