Owners Ali and Jan and site wardens Lindsey and Kev would like to welcome you to Bruce's Cave Caravan Park and historic monument. This idyllic setting is now home of a well kept caravan and camping site with modern amenities set in the grounds of an 80 acre estate that is wooded, secluded and peaceful - making King Robert the Bruce's Cave Caravan and Camp site the ideal get-away for a peaceful and relaxing break.

Great little site with clean & tidy showers, toilets and laundry room, nice touch is radio 2 playing 24/7 in the toilets! Fantastic playgrounds/assault course for kids and river and field/woods for dog walking. The shop is great with cheap toys for the kids and reasonably priced products plus a friendly helpful team. Pub within walking distance and you get 10% off food if your staying at the sitehaven’t tried it yet but will next time Looking forward to our next visit
We stayed at the site over the weekend. We were on pitch 6, opposite the pods and would recommend to anyone. We were worried initially as we were near the bins however they were totally contained and never caused us any bother. Everyone we met was really nice and a special shout out for Jan who couldn’t have been more helpful. Nice area to explore with a local pub further up in the village which was handy. Overall a great stay!
Campsite and caravan park near Lockerbie and Annan. Spacious site with lots of pitches. There is a large play area for kids with a decent obstacle course, as well as the usual swings, slides etc. The nearby cave is worth a look, and there is a walking trail that passes by the river. Reception staff were friendly and informative. Toilet blocks are clean, and there are laundry facilities, too. Worth a stop if you are camping.
Super campsite for a one night stop over. We wouldn’t stay longer as we prefer the north where there is more to do for us.nHowever, the sites facilities are great and it is excellent value for money.nI also liked the receptionist who was flexible and changed our pitch for us! Thank you
We stayed for one night as a stop over on our way from the west midlands up to the NC500 in Scotland. It was conveniently placed within 5 minutes of the motorway, but far enough away that the road noise didn't disturb us on site. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and site was very tidy and clean. We had a great pitch. There's a lovely area for walking the dog down by the river too. There is a train line nearby which was a little noisy at times, but nothing too bad. Overall it was a good spot for us to stop overnight. Will definitely use it again.
