Last minute booking. Excellent reception our room had a heating problem no problem to the management, very sorry have an upgrade to a beautiful four poster room. Dinner absolutely wonderful, leisurely service but worth the wait. The location is ideal the grounds exceptional. Breakfast cooked to order like dinner perfect. Roaring log fires. Staff so helpful. Highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel and grounds. Cosy and welcoming. Great food and service. Four poster bed was hard as mattress on a hard board not springs or slats. Accommodation luxurious apart from that. Would recommend and visit again.

Excellent stay. Excellent value. Allocated room in annexe was very pleasant and quiet with view over garden. Dinner and breakfast are very good and served in a characterful dining room with views over sweeping countryside. Character follows through into bar and a quiet relaxing lounge with open fires.Very appealing location down extended driveway.

Had an amazing weekend . The food was lovely and good valve for money . Staff very helpful and friendly . Would highly recommend staying here
