Drove past this place a few times decided to call in for Sunday roast, didn’t book but they had a table, food served in good pace and was amazing all meat cooked perfectly and veg topped with a fantastic gravy then I finished off with a lovely apple crumble and custard. Service was also top notch

We have been bringing our 2 Granddaughters here every other Saturday evening for the last 9 months and the food and service has always been fabulous good varied menu, large portions, always cooked perfectly. The last couple of times there has been a large number of us 8-12and again the food and service was superb.Delighted to see it getting busier and busier with diners without the quality of food suffering, we are so lucky to have this little gem of a pub serving great home cooked food on our doorstep. Had early evening meal with three friends. Unfortunately the place was almost empty with no atmosphere at all. Food ok but not brilliant. Two meals were quite good and two poor think they had been kept warm under a light. Not cheap for pub food and choice limited.
Called this even, the pub was quite We were greeted by 2 lady’s, They seated us, and everything went right from here in!!! Young girl was Jess, the other girl was South African Made our night The chef was also Fantastic, he made my curry how I wanted it Just as we were finishing off our meal, a lady came from the kitchen, well she looked at me, never smiled once! The 2 girls and the chef Thankyou x
Only had a few drinks there early afternoon and it was quiet and the staff were welcoming and pleasant. Tables were all set for eating and looked inviting. I would visit again and try the menu out.
Easy access the the pub ,large car parking with disabled parking. Pub itself is nice internally and food is lovely and filling. Fish and chips is really nice 5
Superb pud, warm friendly atmosphere, excellent menu, food 1st class piping hot. Thank you too the staff for looking after us, 82 people.
Four of us had a great meal last night at The British Oak. Two had fish and chips, one had burger and I had gammon. All meals very good. Service by the young lady who served us was excellent, friendly, polite, very welcoming. Will definitely be back.
Absolutely beautiful food very nice people and polite and helpful staff very clean and value for money. Highly recommended will deffinatly be visiting again
