Over 1 hour wait on the phone to actually get through to be put on the list to get an appointment - quicker and easier going in person! Much prefer the triage system what is in place now rather than the previous system where you phone up at 8:30 to be told there are no appointments left. Different approach from each doctor; you know what doctors to avoid in each circumstances.

Appalling, sub standard NHS patient care. Granted the NHS is under considerable strain during the winter months and 2017/18 has particularly bad. But getting an appointment any other time of the year for my elderly parents is paradoxical. The doctors themselves when you get to see them, that is before you are triaged over the telephone are efficient, understanding and very accommodating. The current booking system is ineffective and frustrating, as even when seen by the doctor and instructed to return in a weeks time you cannot book an appointment in advance. You are requested to telephone on that day to request to an appointment. However if you do call you can wait for as long as 50 minutes on the line for your call to be answered. Repeat prescription service is also diabolical. Thrice within the past 12 months we have been let down on medication requests being actioned and sent to the local chemist for delivery. On the second occasion my father was without blood pressure medication for 8 days, before the error was rectified.

granted this surgery has had issues in the past, usually I would have to travel to the surgery to book appointments as the phone systems are so busy or simply not attended. But today I have managed to get through within a reasonable amount of time, I have also been given the advice I needed. It seems the practice are simply trialling new ways to operate to ensure an efficient service going forward. overall I really do feel this surgery gets criticised unnecessarily. Since having my daughter they truly have been marvellous.

Waited 25 minutes for someone to answer the phone. When they eventually did, I asked for a doctor consultation as per procedure, to be told "It's Emergencies only". Never knew Bridge Rd turned to an A & E now. Terrible I'll mannered staff in a lot of dealing with them
