As a family we have been a patient for 20+ years and probably like everyone was worried when all the “nice doctors” started leaving, i did not need to!!! We have had an issue with our daughter since November 2022 which is still ongoing and every time we’ve needed to get help for her we have got it in a timely manner on the same day not days later. We have spoke to Stevie, Val, Julie, Lynne and Paula and can honestly say when we have explained the situation or what we require they have done their best to try and help and get us the information/appointment or the medication!! Dr Cross and Dr Locke are so understanding and nothing seems too much trouble they both seem to want to know what’s going on with their patients as much as patients want to know what’s wrong with them!! Well done to all!!
I completed the registration forms with the surgery last week and the receptionist said they would take two days to process.I didn't receive any confirmation by email or text so I Phoned them today. The woman said yes, I am registered, so I asked for my NHS number to be sent by text because I had forgotten it, and it's been years since I used the number . She said yes, she would send it, but I haven't received anything . Looks like I will have to contact them again and see if they will give the number over the phone
Once again, today i received amazing help from the team especially Val. Can not thank you all enough. The last 7 months have been awful for our family and each time i contacted the surgery i felt their concern and they could not do enough. Making my life as a carer as well as working full-time time so much easier. Will never forget this. Keep up the amazing work and caring nature. Xx
Called this morning requesting information on a recent referral done by a physio based at the surgery and a very helpful gentleman Barry Mellor called the hospital, found the relevant information for me, emailed it over and also organised a paper copy to be sent out to me...all in the space of 15 minutes. Excellent service
Terrible GP practice and I use the term GP very loosely. They operate on best guess prescriptions rather than educated medical diagnostic based evidence. This approach has exacerbated symptoms which now are too difficult for this practice ti deal with and advised to go to hospital. You see, best guess now equates to a few more weeks of pain then avoidance of ANY responsibility before being told they can’t help anymore, even though they’ve caused the increase in pain and then advise to go to hospital. Completely incapable and incompetent. . Awful. Do not use. Please go elsewhere.
April 2022 Unfortunately the doctors that were changing my opinion of this surgery have left Dr Williams & Wendy. Don’t know where to start really , reception Julie is extremely unhelpful/dismissive, “some” are helpful but it’s a case of a couple bad eggs bringing the team down unfortunately. Although I received an apology from dr Chung for missing my referral I was subsequently not told about a reply surgery received in Jan until 6 weeks later via a vague text… and when speaking to practice manager although contactable and did resend letters when asked I was told they have 1000’s of patients in other words your not important when a they were the ones who missed it initially and should have been taking extra care and b my referral is in line with recovery of an eating disorder … so very much so important to avoid relapse. Please note, If you can’t cope with the 1000’s of patient either 1 stop taking on new patients or pick up the phone and at least try and help to signpost to somewhere with better capacity or 2 expand your team and TRAIN efficiently. I also lost count how many times I had to chase/surgery/hospital/clinic which resulted in lost bloods. Now although I am not pinning the blame solely on the surgery , the manner that was responded to was awful too , the sec would NOT check their “ice” system and simply said “well the specialist dr and us all have access and use the same system!” Complete laziness , another thing I had to ask practice manager to step in and check which I can say she did do. However, it should never get to that point. If you are new to the area until this surgery make the effort to change I would most definitely avoid. I would like to be able to revisit this review with a more positive response in a few months time and will update. Everyone has been under covid pressure for some time , however, caring attitudes, good manners and reassurance go a long way and do not go unnoticed or not appreciated Update 15/12/22 - I was contacted by Dr Locke via e consult who seems very conscientious and nice. She told me she i migrating over to park street so hopefully this is a positive change

I think the GP I saw today was very thorough and I felt they had a lot of time for me with the way they attended to me, I wasn't rushed in and out , Highly recommend
Trying to get an appointment when your pregnant is impossible! Get told everyday ring at 8am to be on hold over hour to be told nothing ever is left, then the receptionist will ask you what your problem is! If you don't wanna tell them personal or not doesn't matter the problem they couldn't care! The receptionist are a joke! All changed now the haven't got doctors there that actually wanna help, Dr Stanley was the only good doctor!! This doctors has changed receptionist and I haven't had an appointment in nearly 9 months all through my pregnancy was left to rott! When I went in to discuss why no has answered the phone over hour couldn't even hear it ringing,was told to leave and send a letter told if I kick off again they would kick me out! when can't even get in for an appointment so this new receptionist that feels the will not help you need to ask your problems then if you don't say what it is they parm u off, even if u speak to them telehone appointment appointments and told u need to see a doctor they still won't help! This use to be , the best doctor's years ago! Now it's changed that much the snotty receptionists, no doctors like doctor stanly no more they couldn't care less !!
