Went to this Harvester today and it was one of the best meals we’ve ever had out. I had the pitmaster and couldn’t fault anything! The Mac and cheese was the best I’d ever had and the dirty fries were insane. The ribs were tender and had such a lovely Smokey BBQ taste. The spiked maple glazed pork belly slice was to die for. So succulent and juicy and the glaze was spot on. My brother had the mixed grill and also couldn’t fault that, literally had melt in the mouth gammon. My mum had scampi and chips, a generous portion with lots of flavour. My nephew had a kids chicken burger with chips and baked beans - we were shocked he’d ordered this as it’s not usually something he’d eat but he polished the lot off. The salad bar was incredibly tidy and looked very tempting as we approached it, everything we had was just fresh and delicious. Honestly super impressed and will definitely be back soon! All the staff were lovely too.
Shared a really enjoyable early evening meal with family at The Bridge when we stayed in Oxford recently. The restaurant was clean, staff very helpful and attentive and the food amazing! We were so full from our mains that the staff gave us our dessert to take away
Visited this Harvester this week with a colleague for working lunch. Lorraine the GM greeted us and found us a table really quickly despite it being half-term and short of staff. Our waitress was fab and our food came out promptly, hot and exactly what we ordered. We both had the buttermilk chicken flatbed and and some chips, cracking lunch which kept us going for the rest of the day. Hats off to Lorraine and her team for providing a great experience!
We had the excellent lunch deal - great value for money. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and hot on hot plates. The staff were polite, cheerful, friendly and efficient. We will be returning again to be sure. Thoroughly recommended Parking: A good number of parking spaces mid afternoon Wheelchair accessibility: Very good.
Sadly, the service was very poor. We kept having to go and find the waitress to order food, drinks and clear the table. She did not bring us the complete range of menus. The steaks were cooked really well, and we enjoyed the salad bar.
Visited Harvester Wheatley for lunch yesterday as we do often as it’s such a great place to visit for a meal. The food was delicious as always with a excellent variety and very good value for money especially as you can help yourself to delicious fresh salad as a free extra. Service as always was excellent. We were served yesterday by our lovely friendly efficient waitress Toni-Jane although everyone there is friendly and helpful. We would thoroughly recommend it for a visit.
Popped in after a day out with my ex. Haven't been to a Harvester for quite a while after a bad experience. Food was hot and well cooked salad bar was well stocked and a good selection. Waitress was polite and helpful with a smile at all times.Food: 5/5
We had a lovely meal the 1983 combo harvester and my dad had fish and chips his was really nice we both enjoyed are meals very good service are waitress was Mel she was really nice very accomodating to what we ask for. We've been coming here for 38 years for my birthday and anniversary 25 years. Its always been very good service. Parking: There's only 1 disabled bay it was taken up Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible good
We were given a warm welcome and all the staff were polite and helpful. The salad bar was clean and tidy. The menu had good options. The only comment I'd make is some if the plates of food were cold by the time we received it but no-one wanted to make a fuss. Parking: Free parking available
My food simply salmon was not cooked properly, tasted chemical and looked awful. My husbands and daughters food was cold, my husband had the mixed grill and my daughter had southern fried chicken. We feel extremely let down by Harvester. We were visiting our daughter from university and wanted the evening to be great. Unfortunately the meal was a disappointment. Parking: Not many spaces by the restaurant but there is another car park near by.
