Don't get me wrong - it ain't michelin star establishment but for what it is - a working man's cafe it is great. We love the grub, portions are great, well cooked, eggs are done to perfection, loads of siting, cheap coffee, friendly staff - what else do you want. Even parking outside. Best cafe around.
It's a greasy spoon in every sense. The toilets are appalling smelly portaloos that are outside and it surely won't win any Michelin stars for the food. That said warren is mostly friendly and the fried bread is of the most saturated I have ever come across, it filled the hole and we were on our way quickly for a reasonable price too.
Very filling and Excellent food at very reasonable prices. Non greasy breakfast with a big variety of options. its great for the working trades in the area and members of the public to pop in they are very friendly staff and there take away option is great aswell
Lovely little community cafe, mainly used by builders, lorry drivers and North Quay workers but very welcoming to all. Tea and coffee is very cheap for the area just 60p! Breakfast food is great and again very cheap for area, 2 bacon, 1 sausage, 1 egg, tomatoes and bread & butter for just £4 other options available.
Excellent food at very reasonable prices. Non greasy breakfast and a nice variety of other options such as lasagna, omelette, and sandwiches. Good location if passing through newhaven and good parking.
Absolutely love this cafe great food great service amazing milkshakes....recently Sundays though have been a nightmare no one answers the phone for an order for collection their speciality milkshakes such as kinda bueno and twix etc are never available on this day either and altho a card machine is now available it's not on a Sunday? Other then this cannot fault one bit.....
Would have been 4 stars if the tea didn’t taste like sushi seaweed. Nothing special but a good sized cooked breakfast at a reasonable price.
