Visited for a late lunch on a Monday. Staff very friendly but waited over half an hour for food which came out as soon as I mentioned we’d had a long wait! Had asked for salad instead of chips- but got chips! Didn’t send back as we were running short of time. Not enough staff on duty! 😕

Another meal at the Brewers Fayre which we like as it's easy to book, close to home and not over priced. We chose to have New Year's Day lunch here and were surprised to find it was much quieter than we expected and have seen it on previous occasions. The two for one meal offer was not an option due to the bank holiday so we chose from the main menu and ordered mixed grill, sweet potato and feta lasagne and a grilled chicken and bacon salad, all of which were excellent, served promptly and generously proportioned. The service was good with pleasant staff checking we were happy at intervals. Not being able to resist dessert I had the trio of puddings which was lovely and my partner had the Belgian waffle which he said was good. There have been disappointing reviews lately for the Brewers Fayre and we have not always enjoyed our meals there but we have no complaints from this visit.

Food stone cold - AGAIN - wasn't particularly busy so no excuse. This is the 8th or 9th time we have sent food back, won't be going again - the "chefs" are appalling 😠

We have had many meals here. Over 30! Daytime menu Monday to Friday is great value. Become a bonus club member for 40% off mains anytime via offers. Nice ambience and some great staff especially Mike. Best avoided is all you can eat curry nights offer as curries all taste the same!
