Popped in late on Sunday evening and was served efficiently. The steak and chips were both very good and well cooked. Overall, a good value meal in nice surroundings
Another update and normal service has resumed by normal I mean friendly helpful service . Updated Review . Firstly I was impressed upon arriving that the manager was telling a customer about "Meal Deal" which you can have if you're staying at Premier Inn that includes 2 courses, a drink and breakfast for £24.99 obviously there are supplements on some items and currently you can upgrade to extra course for £2, so that was really good customer service. It's amazing how different things can be at different times, so this time I've come here as my last experience was so good, but unfortunately the service has changed today it was very slow service, I realize that sometimes things don't always go to plan but it'd be nice to know things are running slow due to unforeseen circumstances, having arrived at 1800 my food eventually arrived at 1903 but upon asking where my food was I was told that I'd only been waiting 41 minutes since I ordered and not the hour I said in this situation that information is not helpful surely it would have been better to say "sorry, I'll look into it", don't fight fire with fire. I'm not going to reduce my stars rating due to this experience as everyone has bad day's sometimes. Even the staff at the Premier Inn weren't overly happy today, winter blues I guess. . Original review. As someone who regularly stays at Premier Inns I always choose ones that have Beefeaters as the quality of food is much better. The Brecks did not disappoint the staff were all very friendly and gave an excellent level of service whether it was the evening staff or at breakfast, the food was top notch too, I would definitely recommend this Beefeater and the neighboring Premier Inn.

Great resteraunt with a great atmosphere, the staff team were very welcoming and presented good food. There is walk in service on non busy days or you can book a table via their website. What is even better is you get a meal if you stay with the premier inn which is ajoined next door Went here for an early christmas meal and was pleasantly suprised with how everything turned out. 100% reccommend going here if you are ever in the area Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options, really good selection for the menu served. If you are unsure about if something is vegetarian, ask your waiter. They are more than happy to assist. Kid-friendliness: High chairs and larger tables are provided if needed, along side alot of kid-friendly meal portions avaliable on the menu Parking: Limited free parking on site or in the Premier inn parking lot next door. Wheelchair accessibility: Fully wheelchair accessible, and even some accessible tables which makes movement that little bit easier Dietary restrictions: All dietry information is provided on the menu
Went for the all inclusive breakfast on Sunday. Could not fault it. Cereals, toast, crumpets,fruit and yogurts as well as unlimited tea coffee and juices all available and then choose what you want and how much of each hot breakfast item with the waitress and it's all cooked fresh and brought to your table. And the best part -kids eat free with each paying adult. Tremendous
Went for unlimited breakfast, selection was very good however the cooked food took quite a while to come out. This was probably due to it being towards the end of breakfast time and a lot of last minute diners. Overall impressed with the selection of food and service delivered.Recommended dishesContinental Breakfast
Visit regularly for the all you can eat breakfast. Can’t beat the price. One of the main positives that stand out are that you order what you want and it is brought out to you freshly cooked instead of the usual all you can eat breakfasts where everyone helps themselves and there is food all over the place. After you have finished you you just keep ordering what you want. There is also all the continental choice as well with tea, coffee and juices and so much more.
Had the festive menu. Chicken goujons were OK, and the turkey feast burger was also OK turkey dinner in a bun but my friend's steak looked very good. It's not a top notch place for food but good enough for a chain pub. PS - the drinks menu doesn't mention that they have Black Sheep on tap.Food: 4/5
Worst pub food I have ever had!!! Both of us ordered from the set £11.95 2 course menu, the meal ended up costing us £40.00 due to all the little upgrades you have to pay for, like being told "you will have to upgrade the fish and chips to haddock because we don't have another option" at a cost of £2.50 and the fish had definitely been taken out of a box in the freezer, I could go on but just think it's better to say would definitely NOT recommend this place, it's awful!!!!
The food was nice and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The service was a bit slow and the restaurant didn't seem that busy, still had empty tables. We were there nearly 3 hours for a 3 course meal. Was difficult to get the waitresses attention. Would probably go again.Food: 4/5
