Service really really slow meals took 50 mins for meals to come out and wasn't really very busy and was well staffed so no real excuses. Our Puddings got delivered to 3 tables before ours we told the waiter they were ours but didn't seem to be convinced even though i told him what we ordered and had a receipt too. It's normally pretty good although not been in for a while. Everything over cooked by 5 mins : Bread bun on burger was solid! No one asked us if food was OK till we had eaten it either. Puddings were good though as you can see. First pint of Bud Light was lush Second not great :
Had a fantastic Christmas day lunch here with 13 others. Food was great, which in all honesty I didn't expect on Christmas day with so many people to serve. Service was great and the drinks were very reasonable. The pubs team were on hand at all times and were friendly and helpful. Will definitely be booking for next year. A very big thank you to all your team.
Shocking. It seems really nice at first glance, lovely building and interior, menu looks promising but that’s not the case. Food was incredibly dry and tough obviously been sat for a while and for £15 a plate, expected it to be much better. Tried dessert, it was better but we were sat for half an hour after waiting for a bill. There were only 4 tables and waiting staff kept looking at our table and ignoring us. We heard other tables complaining a lot about food as well, so seemed to be having a bad day. Not normally one to complain at all but absolutely appalled by service, food quality, especially for the price.
My meal was very.nice but my husband wanted fish but they had sold out. So he had a classic burger which looked very dry and too well . So he was not impressed. Both grandsons meals were fine.Food: 3/5
The staff were brilliant, friendly and professional. Our food was great and served quickly. We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be backFood: 5/5
Once again I had a lovely experience here. The food was beautiful and it was definitely value for money.Food: 5/5
Wish I read the reviews first before I visited. Waited 50mins for food to be served a cheese melt sandwich with no cheese just salad and an massive amount of Mayo and 3 chicken bacon sandwiches with no bacon. Then was delivered side salad 15 mins later. The staff were very apologetic and I did get my money back. But won’t be dinning there again
Friendly, helpful and approachable staff. Nicely prepared and presented food. Good choice of drinks. Parking: Good sized car park on premises with clearly marked spaces.
Don't go for Sunday dinner, despite the website advertising they don't do it. This was a disappointing start to our first visit to this pub. Bar staff are friendly and helpful food was at standard for a Sizzlers.Food: 4/5
Visited The Homestead on Friday 30th December 2022, would like to thank all staff especially Elle for attention to detail when taking our food order. She took time to go into the kitchen to ask about availability and made sure we was happy with our order. Happy New Year to all the staff and all the best for 2023 Dietary restrictions: Always take care to ask about allergies
