Great place to eat . Staff superb really good atmosphere five stars
Food good but service terrible. Took nearly three hours to have two courses. Complained to manager but she wouldn't accept any responsibility. We were a party of twenty Inc children and it was our fault for not pre ordering, which we hadn't been asked to do. It wasn't like it was busy. Only eight other people in restaurant apart from us. God knows what they would have done if busy. Staff totally out of depth but that comes down to no training or leadership. Deserves better. Get a grip or I suspect in a few on the you will be out of business
A good brasserie only a couple of hundred metres from the Riverside Stadium. I've started going there with my dad, who struggles with the walk from the stadium back into town. It's an ideal place to have something to eat or just have a drink while the crowds die down. Staff were excellent. Food was very good and not too pricey. The view across the quay is brilliant.
Restaurant not overly busy for a Sunday but waited a long time for our food. Also a mix up with desserts. And then charged £33.00 for a dessert which should have cost £3.00. Luckily we noticed this on the bill and the bill was corrected but staff didn't seem it to be a problem. Overall food nice. But wait times and service appalling. Plus the error in our bill and a Mix up with the puddings did not help. Therefore a little disappointed
Came here despite warning from a trusted source for a birthday meal. We waited roughly 45 mins for our meals. This would have not been a problem if the food itself was exceptional. It was not. I had order venison at £22, I received three medallions of lion, over cooked I had not asked for well done, tough and incredibly disappointing. Avoid where possible.
Great customer service and very polite staff, the food was truly amazing. Calm and relaxed atmosphere aswell as a very well done interior layout. Would highly recommend for a place to go and eat. Would like to say a massive thank you to the staff for the warm welcome and service they provided.
Lovely meal and great service. Ate outside until it got chilly when sun went down, but I t was colder inside than out! Staff were excellent and did turn air con off when requested but still cold! Other than that, brilliant evening.
what a lovely looking place, the ambience, the decor, lovely. The attention to detail of the staff was second to none, they were professional, very well turned out and really knew what they were doing. The menu was good even though several things, had been taken off or replaced. But, it was Christmas and very busy. But the food just didn't measure up to the prices. The starters were excellent. I shared a camenbert with my husband. Several of our party ordered the pork burger served with hand cut beef dripping chips. When it arrived the bun with burger was in the centre of the plate, and it looked like, well , a burger. no garnish or accompaniments. the chips arrived, now my sister loves her chips, she has had chips all over the world. Hand cut they were not, nor dripping fried, they were skinny Macdonalds type. I thought she was going to cry. I ordered the stone bass, it had been replaced with sea bass, I assumed the person who had married fish with beef rissotto knew something I didn't, but I was wrong, rissotto had the consistency and flavour of minced meat, with the occasioal chewy lump of something. My husbands very well done tough steak was supposed to be a medium sirloin, again with "hand cut, dripping fried chips". The bill for 8 was £240 with drinks. The burger and chips being £11,95. It was the 23rd December and I always think resturants are at there worst in December, but neither I nore my family will be returning.
We went for NewYears eve as a party of 4 , it was lovely and welcoming. We got mulled wine as we arrived and seated on the comphy sofas My party did not eat from the set menu as it was not to our palette taste but seem like plenty in there were enjoying the food. We listened to a Michael Buble' tribute which was very good , I would say the place is ideal for romantic couples or if you want a chilled out evening with friends , not noisy easy to have conversation without shouting, well organised and pleasent staff We need to go back during an normal evening to sample the normal menu
Visited last week and really enjoyed my steak, great value for the steak and pasta night on Thursdays, 2 for £20. Efficient and friendly service, pleasant atmosphere. Shall come again.
