The way this Nando's is run is bad. When we got there we waited in the queue which in itself isn't unusual but when 70% of the tables are empty begs the issues. We were told that we couldn't be seated while the kitchen catch up with the current orders. All this time the queue was getting bigger.nnPrevious occasion there were no chicken on the bone available and we asked if that was the case on this visit, it wasn't but instead there was a 40 min wait for chicken on the bone. We asked why and it was because the machine doesn't tell them the stock is low, so why don't they check manually???nnWe ordered food not on the bone and that took a very long time to arrive, we waited over half hr so could have had chicken on the bone considering how long we waited. Tables next to us were all complaining about time taken for food to arrive and a couple tables complained about food not arriving.nnThe experience was poor and in all fairness to the waiting staff they were still providing a good service to customers and were all so lovely and understanding of our complaints. These staff were taking the brunt from angry customers when the management should have stepped up but instead casually going about their day as if there wasn't any problems.nnIf it weren't for the waiting staff, my 3 star for this review would have been a 1.nnManagement need to wake up and realize it is not fair on customers to wait this long and not fair on the staff who were having to deal with all the issues and complaints.nnNando's reputation is very important for the brand but this specific restaurant has put it in jeopardy
Extremely Disappointed – Found Metal in My ChickennnI’m very disappointed with my recent experience at Nando’s Middlesbrough. While dining today, I found a piece of metal in my chicken meal. It was shocking and completely unacceptable — a serious health hazard that could have caused injury if I hadn’t noticed it in time.nnI’ve always enjoyed Nando’s, but this incident has raised serious concerns about food safety and quality control. I’ve reported the issue and hope it’s taken seriously, as no customer should have to worry about something like this in their food.nnI’m awaiting a response from management and hope to see steps taken to ensure this never happens again.
Breast in the burger was half of the size and with full of tomatoes I asked for garlic sauce but idk what was that totally wasted £12.75
This was a fantastic restaurant for dining, with a stylish design featuring patterned shapes and different coloured lights! The counter is well-presented with menus readily available from which staff told us what items were unavailable, water is readily available from the machine with ice too. I had deliciously hot Chicken Wings with peri-salted chips and mint peas, sitting comfortably and also the toilets were very clean!
Food was lovely, but as it was a take away. The mac and cheese was a bit wet from the container, chips and burger were luke warm by the time we got home. We live 10mins from the branch. Would definitely recommend sitting in as we have done so in the past.
