Went out for something to eat at tea time and thought Id give this place a Try as we saw it being put together. Im glad I did. The welcome was warm, the service from Eddie was friendly amd professional.. he could do enough for us.. so accommodating. Then ghe food came... it was Lovely, warm and tasty... definitely making this place a regular :

Had loads of meals here, food and service the best I've received anywhere. Nice cocktails. Would recommend it to anyone. They always cater for my Mum's gluten intolerance and food is still as delicious.
I went to this place on Valentine's day with my wife for the very first time. Nicely greeted on arrival by the host. The interior was ambient and welcoming. We opted for the 3 course Valentine's day menu at £21.95 per head. Starters root vegetable soup and crab cakes were great. However, that's where the good news ends. We then waited 45 minutes for the main course. Once it arrived, I was less than satisfied. The chicken tasted bland and overcooked. The lobster ravioli was undercooked and tasteless. The salmon was well made but not enough to constitute a main course. The chips never arrived, even after calling over the waiter to complain. The waitress offered to remove our drinks and desserts from the bill which was a nice gesture. However, I would have preferred to have left with a full stomach and fully satisfied. Needless to say, this would be our first and last visit to this Italian.
Nice and cosy place to have dinner with friends or family. Nowadays you'll need to book a table for obvious reasons. Even the restaurant was full till the top last Wednesday evening, the staff was quick and accurate. There are a lot of dishes to choose. I had foie on toast and soup of the day as starter. The foie was really good, and it came with caramelized onion. The soup of the day was the most incredible tomato soup I've ever had. Smooth and tasty at the same time. I finished my dinner with a "traditional chicken Parmo", with home made chips. A very good experience.
