Had a lovely haddock and chips for lunch. Great place with a really nice ambience and friendly staff. Ethos behind the restaurant is very commendable.

Fantastic restaurant with a great ethos. In a town where people sometimes need help getting back on their feet Fork in the Road does exactly that. Staff who are long - term unemployed or ex-offenders work alongside experienced hospitality staff in a town centre restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the food is prepared to a very high standard and reasonably priced. A no tips policy mean that all wages are distributed fairly, instead people are encouraged to leave a donation to the charity behind this excellent venture.

Really great restaurant with a fantastic altruistic principal, to help those within the local community who are having difficulty with life's situations and assisting them by providing training and employment. The staff and welcoming and highly professional. The atmosphere and decor is relaxing and intimate and the food is presented to the standards of a top class restaurant and most importantly tastes delicious, a cocophany of flavours that you'd expect from a restaurant with prices much higher than here. Recommend this place for couples, friends, parties or people with children. It really is a great place with top class service and delicious food! Get yourself there!

Well worth a visit food great staff excellent will be our regular lunch venue in Middlesbrough Les and Tony Poole
