The staff are ABSOLUTELY wonderful as is the service provided from EMT and the wards, but they are absolutely run off their feet. There needs to be a big injection of new nurses and some damn security as there's just weirdos roaming around like they've glitched out. Also the patients here have you doubting humanity, goodness knows how so many people at BRI can be so rude to nurses. If you go please be patient with the staff, they get so much rubbish from the people of Bradford. You will be waiting a long time too so just be at peace with it as once they see you they are incredible with making you better, just be nice and patient even if its very painful.
9 hrs waiting for IV, only one doctor in the GREEN AREA of A&E and the queue was absolutely not moving, but everyone was nice and attentive there.nnAMBER ZONE in the morning- a young, dedicated, professional nurse ANNA deserves recognition for her hard work and kindness. Such a good soul. Nothing was too much for her. She was doing everything promptly, even though she was busy. I felt so much well looked after. She is an angel and lightens the room with her smile when enters. Thank you so much ANNA!!!!
My father was rushed into hospital recently. His care from the doctors and nurses in A&E to the staff on wards 26 & 29 was exemplary. He was given a 6% chance if leaving hospital when he went in but due to the care and expertise of these fantastic people, he has made a good recovery. Thank you to them all, and yet it doesn’t seem enough just to say thank you. Unfortunately I have nothing else to offer but my gratitude for their care.
Thank you for looking after me on ward 1, all the staff are wonderful, they really are the most caring and compassionate group of people and they deserve much more credit than they get. I felt really safe and cared for during my three day stay. Hopefully our paths won't cross again, even though you were all so pleasant and smiley and kept me in good spirits at a difficult time. Keep up the good work!
My experience at A&E in Bradford was extremely disappointing. The waiting times were excessive, with patients left unattended for hours on end. The staff seemed overwhelmed and unresponsive, showing little empathy or concern for the patients’ well-being. The facilities were poorly maintained, adding to the overall discomfort. Communication was severely lacking, with little information provided about waiting times or the status of treatment. I expected a much higher standard of care and professionalism from the NHS. This experience has significantly eroded my trust in the service provided at this facility.
