I got offered an appointment for day surgery at this hospital owing to lesser wait time, despite it being an hour away it was so worth it. The hospital was bright and clean and I received 5 Star treatment from the minute I arrived to the moment I left. I was extremely nervous after having a bad anaesthesia in the past elsewhere, after explaining owing to me having a side room they allowed my husband to stay with me for support. I was quickly down to my room and attended by lovely 'Nurse Jayne' who made me feel very welcome, I was quickly admitted by Junior Sister 'Emily' also very lovely and reassuring. They advised that the anaesthetist and surgeon would be with me shortly. Within the first half an hour I had been visited by the lovely anaesthetist I believe was called 'Kate' and my Amazing surgeon Miss Nasira Amtul, both of whom put my mind at ease and took away a lot of my anxiety. I went down for my procedure and from anaesthetic to recovery ward I was approx 1 hour. I was then swiftly taken back to my room and left to rest whilst nurse did my observations. I was then offered toast, biscuits and coffee, lovely, they even made my husband coffee and biscuits. All in all I cannot praise all involved in this hospital enough. Well done and a 5 star rating is the least I can do. Huge thanks 'Victoria K' . Surgery date 27th Jan 2026.
Had a wonderful experience getting my toddler allergy tested today. The staff were wonderful, the hospital was very clean, lots to entertain a 1.5 year old during the brief waits. We were caught short without a nappy and wipes and the staff grabbed us some so we didn't have to nip out to a shop.nnWe now have an allergy plan in place even though the tests came back negative just in case we see more reactions when we reintroduce the problem food at home. I can't thank the staff enough for how helpful and lovely they've been.
On recommendation I visited this hospital for the minor injuries department after fracturing a finger.nnStaff were very helpful and friendly. The receptionist was really nice, very welcoming. The waiting time was very short, less than half hour, even with 3 others waiting prior to me.nnThere's plenty of parking and the charges are reasonable.nnThe care I received was excellent. I'd highly recommend visiting this hospital above the rest in and around Leeds.
Clean, easy to find and access. Wet quick to get my ultrasound scan done.nnThank you Janine, you have truly made my day. Superb nurse!
Just come back from the hospital it’s the best one ever the staff are very helpful and kind even the theatre room they where all ladies very Beautiful souls I was very anxious and I suffer from stress and depression they kept talking to me all the way through my operation put my mind somewhere else he did help. Thanks to you guys will never forget wish you guys the best in life from kasim
