Most appalling and rude behaviour from the staff at the A&E. they do not care the least bit if you are in pain or about to pass out they will turn you away and be like wait in the waiting area until you have completely passed out then someone will be there to help. They literally want something serious to happen to you before they even attend to you. The nurses and staff and the doctors aren’t friendly at all they all beyond rude and have such cold behaviour and attitude towards you. Don’t bother going here, you’ll end up on your death bed and they will say oh wait in the waiting area until you die and stopped breathing then we will take you seriously. Absolute rubbish behaviour from the NHS staff, us fulltime workers pay tax just to get a horrible treatment from BRI. Absolutely disgusting and unhygienic hospital to visit.
Gave 1 star only because can't give none.n91 year old mother admitted via ambulance. 4 hours in the ambulance bay. Every time the door opened it was freezing. Level of care for the elderly is none existant. We were just left with no information or anything. I appreciate how busy they are but even a quick how you doing
Waited all night for one xray for my 3 year old. Do not visit this place. Stay home and save the hassle. Even though they knew we have a 4 month old relying on feeds etc..had to sit in a cold waiting area on a hard chair all night holding my kids. It's an awful experience. We have had to use this a&e 4 times for my kids who were max a year old and today 3 years, and have never been discharged within the promised 4 hour window. Unless you are prepared to hang around on hard plastic chairs for 10 to 15 hours at night, do NOT visit this place.
I want to be clear off the bat, this review is purely based on waiting times. The staff are incredible, friendly and kind and seem to be genuinely trying to help, the issue is the underfunded hospital, wait times are insane, We were here for almost 12 hours, there just isn't enough staff and it really just isn't fit for purpose as an A&E
My sister was admitted to the Rapid Response unit April 9th. I cannot praise the staff enough for the care they gave to her .They tried everything they could to save her life but she died peacefully at 3.30 am.nThe family were kept informed at every stage and we were all treated with dignity and respectnAs a family we will be forever grateful to all the staff working that night. We can’t thank them enough got their efforts
