Great location, facilities, rooms and activities, especially the archery and air rifle sessions and scenic walks. Lovely afternoon tea in front of a log fire. The breakfast options were a bit disappointing though, with a cooked breakfast costing £20. "American style" pancakes with bacon was a tiny portion and seemed not very fresh. Overall glad to have stayed here.

The place was amazing, the room was very spacious. The staff were very helpful and polite. The swimming pool was lovely. The restaurant doesn’t cater for people who are vegetarians or for people like myself who do not eat fish.

Kid and dog friendly escape from the big city. Lovely grounds and swimming pool. Fireplace and many reception rooms were an absolute treat. Comfortable rooms spacious and well decorated in a contemporary English style. Check-in is too late and Checkout time could have been an hour later. Otherwise would have been the perfect escape

Attended my sisters Wedding here and it was amazing. The best hotel I have ever stayed in. Rooms were clean and beautifully furnished, lots of little extras including small dressing gown and slippers for the children. The staff were friendly and there was a very relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was very nice and lots on offer. Would highly recommend.
