Service was a SHAME!! I can't even believe they made us pay for the poor quality we got. I asked for the muesli and was really disappointed: the fruit were easy to count when you can count the number of blueberries, strawberries and kiwis you have in your plate, there clearly is a problem regarding the quantity and the kiwis were not "fresh". "Fresh" juice is also a big joke, it looked like innocent juice. I had to get up to the counter to ask 3 times for my coffee and was not served the correct one To clarify things: we were 6 customers in the restaurant, so no rush to excuse the rudeness and the low memory of the waitress. DO NOT spend your money there!!!
A bad experience. Service forgot to bring my partner's coffee, and we had to stand up and ask 3 times. We were wrongly charged for this coffee which was supposed to be included in our menu. Customers next to us had similar problems, and were served 3 poached eggs instead of 3 scrambled eggs and had to argue with the waitress for 5 good minutes to get served the right meals. Food was okay, yogurt with muesli was a real disappointment.
My favourite place in Notting Hill. Great coffee and food during the day, fantastic wines and food in the evenings but more than anything friendly atmosphere thanks to the people who work here. I popped in once during the day and I’m coming back over and over again and each time I get surprised. I would highly recommend for wines, great food and romantic evenings or simply for fresh Italian coffee. My tip: try to get a place for one of the wine tastings they organise regularly. Enjoy!
Honestly - service was useless, food tasted nothing. An Italian restaurant that doesn't even include bread and olive oil and add Parmesan on your food. The small things that wouldn't cost them anything in the long run.
I have been here a few times with friends and family. The staff are very knowledgable especially with the choice of wine with food.
Great place with hard to find wines from the Fruili region.
