Cool little cafe where they play music on vinyl hidden away at the end of Portobello Road. Not very many drinks to chose from, but their freshly pressed orange juice was fantastic.
The atmosphere was pretty good. Good music and friendly staff. The coffee was pretty good too. The food on the other hand.. Well if you want to pay £7 to receive two Herta hotdogs in a bun, go ahead. Very homely.
Fabulous for gluten free desserts. I had a pistachio croissant, there were plain ones as well, also other cakes available. My daughter and I both had the croissants with very nice coffee and no adverse affects. I was amazed at such a tiny place having such a choice and can't understand why it is not more well known. The pastries are made fresh every day and we will for certain be back for more. Bought some for our breakfast tomorrow! The staff are very friendly and approachable, the cafe tiny and quaint, you can also listen to vinyl records and buy a designer dress at the same time if you should wish to. There is a downside, the place is a little shabby and could do with a lick of paint.
Horrible staff and the rudest waiter or tenant? that I've never seen! He was insulting in french toward a very old lady who asked to use the toilet!! I ordered an ice the and a waiter was bringing to me a sort of lukewarme bland tasting the with a thick layer of foam on the top, I understand the concept of "home made" but honestly it was undrinkable. Then I kindly asked to have a bit of sugar and the same man replies to me with an aggressive tone that if I want an ice the with sugar I should to tell it before. I was shocked so I just left the café.
Charming little vinyl cafe with a surprisingly decent selection of vinyls. Staff is very friendly and approachable. Good quality coffee, teas and cakes/pastries. It's right in Portobello road. Definitely recommended.
Amazing food, amazing staff and even more amazing music. Exactly what Notting Hill is all about- I highly recommend you try this amazing little gem!!! personally met the chef and the owner who took amazing care of us and made us feel truly special! :
Firstly, untidy atmosphere with menu. There was no difference between full and half english breakfast. Furthermore, mushroom was dark, burnt, not fresh bread. Plus, cutleries were dirty as well. I couldn't believe the entire review score at all. It was the worst breakfast I've ever had.
Well, firstly I was charged a service charge without being asked. I paid £10 for fish, chips and mushy peas which would have suited £4 more comfortably. Tap water tasted of something other than water. Then my food turns up it a plastic basket with paper. Artisan idea yes, artisan no. Fish was small
Eclectic. Great music. Nina Simone features. Great service and atmosphere. Visited on a Tuesday so quiet and relaxing. Gods vegan/vegetarian options.
The people working here are so friendly and will help you pick out the right records while you sip on espresso. This is the kind of neighborhood place that you want to spend hours in!
