Decent breakfast here, quick good service and a lovely ambiance
I really enjoy the fruit salad for breakfast here. Aside from this one dish there are no other gluten free options. One time I ate it and it was delicious. A second time I ate it and it had a hair in it was taken back. Third time I queued for 40 minutes for a table on a Sunday and when I finally sat down they had run out and there was no alternatives for me unfortunately. Perhaps just bad luck...
The mocha praline cake was amazing. I've also had brunch here - it was quite busy on a Sunday but well worth the wait. If you can get seats outside, it's great for a relaxed meal while people-watching.
Some people swear by Raoul's they also have a deli in Maida Vale, so I visited it with great expectations. The environment is almost indifferent, which came as a surprise as most places in the neighborhood have a character -if you like it or not is another issue. The food was good: my friend had eggs on toast and I had a spinach pie and trust me, when it comes to spinach pies I am the strictest judge. The service was quick.
Perfect full english breakfast in a local place and not to close from the tourist attractions, so if you're a Londoner this place is for you ! It's cheap and the staff is very kindly ! Take your time and enjoy your breakfast !
Grabbed a takeaway coffee from here before heading into a meeting. Half-drank said coffee and after the meeting headed back in to order breakfast. The manager I assume said I couldn't drink my takeaway coffee FROM RAOUL'S in Raoul's so he'd need to throw it away. I said I hadn't finished it so he said he could distill it into a cup but 'only this once' and that 'next time, it would be different', at which point I told him I'd be grabbing breakfast elsewhere and promptly left. How bizarre. Won't be going back.
Friendly, cheerful brunch and lunch place. Must admit I was a little hungover, but quickly rallied for the shakshouka eggs and the revelry remedy smoothy. Staff were lovely.
Terrific place for brunch. Simple diner experience but great eggs of any kind!
, then when the food came I realised I had just paid £7 for cheese on toast no drink, when I'm sure I had ordered welsh rarebit.....Don't waste your money!
Love it. Great breakfast and brunch food and not as ridiculously busy as some other Notting hill venues
