Great little cafe with a nice modern designed interior. Have a great menu with plenty of options, so would definitely be 5 stars for their menu. Their sweet corn fritters come in a very generous portion of 3 large fritters, the accompanying sauce was nice but not a match winner. Overall I would definitely visit again to try some of the other items on the large menu.
Had lovely dinner yesterday with my husband. Food is always excellent. Been a few times for breakfast and dinner. Dinner is such good value for money. My favourite drink at Antipodea is violet blossom late Must try!! Staff very friendly and treat you well. Thank you guys
Lovely cafe for a lunch. Stopped after visiting the garden and it was perfect spot before getting back on the tube to central London. The pide were delicious and provided a light lunch, just enough to fuel us through the day but not too much to weigh us down and make us want to nap.
This restaurant serves delicious breads, the eggs are so good and the meats were well done. The price is on the higher end but the food compromised for it. I love the food we ate.
The food is good quality with a lot of options and all day breakfasts but unfortunately like many restaurant cafes the gluten free bread is clearly store bought. I tried the eggs Benedict with bacon which was very good and my partner tried the folded egg with chorizo which was excellent. The berry smoothy was great but perhaps a little too sweet as if sugar was added. But otherwise good and the freshly squeezed orange juice was great. The atmosphere was upbeat and the other food looked very good. One thing to note is it's also pet friendly which is great of you want to bring your dog. It is perhaps a little expensive, however, but this is West London after all. I would recommend. Vegetarian options: There's sections on the menu for vegetarians Kid-friendliness: Family friendly - there were multiple babies and young children present. It's also pet friendly if you wish to bring your dog Dietary restrictions: There's sections on the menu for vegan and gluten free
Food is great. Atmosphere is beautiful and well though. Staff very helpful and friendly. I got the roasted kale and was unbelievably tasty and delicious. The desserts are also varied and quite good.
My friend and I had tables outside, in the spring sunshine. Table service was a little slow, but they were really busy so this was understandable, and our food & drinks arrived surprisingly quickly, given how busy they were. We both had the Eggs Benedict. The eggs perfectly poached, and the yoke a vibrant red/orange - very tasty, accompanied by a superb hollandaise sauce. The ham was disappointing. It was just a thin slice of rather flavourless meat, but the eggs & sauce compensated for this. My big mistake was ordering the Lamington - and ordering "take away". Had we been dining inside, I probably wouldn't have ordered one because I would have seen how puny they were in the display cabinet inside. The first indication of the size was when my friend looked in the box and warned me that I would not be impressed. I decided to reserve judgement until I got home. If it still tasted good, then we could forgive the small serving, right? It weighed 134g vs the average weight of lamingtons I buy in London of 220 grams. There was no cream layer inside and only a thin thin scraping of jam. The sponge was EXTREMLY dry. If I had ordered it to eat-in, I would have sent it back after one bite. As it was, it ended up in my rubbish bin - and I never throw food away. I've eaten some bad cakes in my time but I do believe this one was one of the worst. Dear Antipodea Baker - please go to Blackbird Bakery to see & taste a good lamington. What was served to me was disgraceful. NB: the last photo is of what a lamington should look like. It did NOT come from Antipodea
We were here for a late breakfast. A nice location, well attended. A bit noisy in between, but the the food tastes excellent.
Cozy place with a good range of options to choose from the menu. The staff is friendly and the sourdough is amazing, so any option with it will be surely good! The option with avocado, feta and chorizo is a must try Will be back for sure!
I love the decor and atmosphere of this place, and the team are friendly. But the pizza I had was north the worst and most expensive I had in years. Even though I’m a pizza lover, I couldn’t eat more than half of it! Low quality, poor presentation, looked far too processed and walked out really regretting my visit :/
