Story

Bosworth Battlefield tells the story which changed the course of history in 1485, when two Kings, Richard III and Henry VII fought over the Crown of England, and Henry established the powerful Tudor dynasty.

Visitors can experience what this famous turning point in British history really meant by exploring what it was like to fight in medieval battles, discover how the true location of the Battle of Bosworth was found or explore the Country Park and walk the Bosworth Trail.

Quite a nice place to spend an afternoon. The facilities were good. Ample parking at £2.50 for the day. We did the guided walk which was £4.50 and a nice easy walk with good paths so would fit different ages and abilities. The guide, Eddie, was very friendly and knowledgeable. We all learnt something! You could pay a further £9 to go into the museum but there were stalls for a fayre that was on so we ran out of time. Lots of options for walking nearby and a typical touristy cafe with homemade cakes and inflated prices.

Nice facilities, £2.50 per day for parking. Gravel paths and plenty of information boards. I would highly recommend the guided walk which lasted about an hour. This was very interesting with an interactive element. The drinks from the cafe were a bit pricey (£2.20 for 500ml Pepsi)

Fantastic educational centre, we always thoroughly enjoy the different events and the entertaining and interactive museum, coming back time and time again. The gift shop is well stock with a diverse range of items for both children and adults. Lovely helpful and friendly staff and knowledgeable guides. Huge grounds to enjoy a picnic, walk or follow the treasure hunt trail. When you are shattered from all that you can enjoy lovely food on site to recharge your batteries and go on to enjoy more history activities for children. Highly recommended and you will need a full day to explore everything.

Excellent place to visit - even when the weather's cold and wet outside, there's so much to see and do inside. There's ample car parking on site and lots of level access provision. The exhibition makes good use of video and inter-activity so is good for either short attention spans or people wanting to spend a little longer looking around. Nice cafe. Dogs can walk in the outdoors areas.

Fantastic walks especially with a guide very interesting and informative visitors centre! The Bosworth centre sraff are all very friendly and helpful! The restaurant is very great too, there is a good menu choice their jacket potato meals are lovely and the tea & scones!
