Lovely park but an absolute shame about the lady sat at the war memorial desk! Hadn't been in the memorial for more than a minute when I was rather abruptly shouted at and questioned in a very impolite, intrusive way. This is my first visit but I was not at all happy about the way I was spoken to. I was minding my own business with my calm, well behaved pooch by my side, so to have someone shout across the room, "is your dog wearing a muzzle for a purpose?" without so much as an, "excuse, may I ask....." just really did shock me! Not a great first impression and this lady's manner really has done this memorial a disservice!
I had such an amazing time visiting the war memorial! I have walked past it many times and decided that I should take some time to actually go in it. The volunteers are really kind and the ones I talked to knew a lot about the memorial. Going to the top was also amazing, the view of Loughborough was great!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
